Ha! Interesting… we’ve just started playing this and both thought different from playing in our youth to what my new card book states. We always played with 7 cards but apparently it should be 10 for Gin Rummy and if straight Rummy then 10 if two people are playing, 7 if three or four are playing and 6 if more than four are playing so we now play with 10 cards each . Do think it works better with three players than two though.
@Peitho I was at first thinking inflatables but that may have been earlier, possible late 80s. The celery was also linked to an offensive chant which I’ve found online for you all…
Celery, Celery,
If she don’t cum,
I’ll tickle her bum,
With a lump of celery…
We’re always trying to add more people to our quiz gang , so check out how to hide your answers, pop them in a post, and I’ll add you to the Scoreboard.
Where do the questions come from?
I found a mysterious old box of trivial pursuit, with even more trivial pursuits stuffed inside. It is a treasure trove of quiz questions, and all of them really old. Perfect fodder for a Hump Day special.
