@Gingerninja and @steve19 I Thought I’d bring this here as I was also in the tooth agony camp this week, horrific Sunday and Monday even with mountains of ibuprofen. Thankfully mine ended yesterday albeit with significant damage to my wallet. Gave up on trying to get an an NHS dentist, like absolute hen’s teeth round here, absolutely no chance of an apointment. Went for an emergency appointment at a private practise yesterday and now have a nice temporary filling but also zero pain during the appointment or since which is a first for me on a trip to a dentist. Wallet is £200 lighter though with a follow up root canal and crown to pay for yet :sob:.

@steve19 I had that about 10 years ago. A tooth that was absolute agonising pain for weeks, went to dentist, took X-rays and was told nothing wrong. A week later an enormous abscess came up, went to different dentist, same company but I was then in a different city, told oh yes, clearly been very badly infected for ages, we can take it out or root canal. By that stage I just wanted it gone! Regret that choice now but c’est la vie.
