Haha, I couldn’t cope with the disorganization but like you said it’s not yours to change as your ladys cool with it and you know what they say, happy wife = happy life

Exactly!

Disorganisation anywhere is a struggle, but I also cannot look at OH’s phone… folder what is a folder? Order, what us order?? I have no idea how she finds anything or even answer the phone for that matter!! I have to do breathing exercises if I see it!!! :joy:

Sounds familiar! Her home page has gaps where apps should be, then the often used apps are on other pages also with gaps! She wanted me to show her how to save a photo from Facebook recently, i couldn’t find Facebook, it was about 3 pages in! :exploding_head:

Has your new silver wand arrived yet @David1986H was just wondering if the colour is as good at it looks?

@CurvyJilly yes, it arrived this morning and its beautiful. Sometimes its difficult to know what’s it looks like in pictures but im impressed. Very sparkly but not in a cheap way I don’t feel. Ive upload a couple of pics to the toy box so it could be a while before they are posted.

Are you thinking of getting it in silver?

No but like your suggestion in baby blue…bet that would look amazing. The white I feel looks cheap.

A nice blue would be nice, I feel more colours are needed and hopefully in the same finish as this new one.

@WillC Exactly, they ask for help then a) don’t listen about making it easier and b) can’t find itto deal with it, But don’t forget they it’s their phone so what is the problem :joy::joy: we can’t win!!

@Buzboy my oh used to have no idea how to work phones, it’s taken years of training
So on your homescreen you must have the most important apps right? For example, phone, text, WhatsApp, telegram, email, banking, Samsung notes, camera, gallery and so forth. However if you have a picture that can not be covered, that’d drive me bloody nuts  it’s an order of importance anything of importance to you personally goes on the homescreen unless you cant fit everything onto it due to having a lovely picture of the oh, kids ex-etera or having lots of important apps. So start the next screen with the level of importance and so on, the last page will have the least used apps :+1: obviously I’m not trying to tell anybody how it has to be done, that only applies to hubs
It took alot of training to get him upto my standards, I think it’s worked as he is OCD too and being his mentor I taught him my way. No way, how do you cope? Have you suggested moving fb to one of those gaps that should be illegal on the homepage? Fb three pages in, that’s too funny being one of the majority of the worlds most used app’s

I must admit one of my most used shortcuts is on my second page, not homescreen, just in case i have to open up my phone at work…the LH forum! ( but it is positioned so that it’s one swipe and my in exactly the right spot to hit with my thumb!)

My phone layout has to be perfect. I’m always shuffling things around as my usage changes. Why wouldn’t you?!

PC desktop is the same. No icons on the desktop. A few carefully chosen ones pinned to the startbar.

I do love this phone perfection talk, least we now know its normal to want everything in their rightful place
I understand you don’t want co-workers and friends seeing your username ex-etera or even that you’re on the site, it’s a difficult one but I don’t have the app now as hubby’s loaned me his phone, its dual sim so he still gets his calls ex-etera and I don’t want anyone to question me. Obviously he knows, anyone else I mean

I am with both of you @KinkyMira and @WillC - clutter is no use to anyone!!! Keep all devices organised and clutter free! I had a very senior colleague ask me what to do as their pc screen was full of icons and no room to add anything else!! I was glad I was on phone and not physically beside them a) I am sure they would not have appreciated the face I made and b) I was not able to slap them (disclaimer - violence is never the answer!) :person_facepalming::person_facepalming:

Note that some people would say we all have OCD, but I take exception to that… it surely should be CDO!!:joy::joy:

Definitely in alphabetical order! There’s nothing OCD about being organised and efficient!

Totally agree but tell that to unorganised people who love to tells us we have it (in what ever order) :joy::joy:

My Dad laughed at us when we had boxes numbered for moving house (and contents listed on a spreadsheet)
