Happy monday all, hope you are all good
anyone have any exciting plans for the week ahead
@WillC Think thatās means itās vodka febuary
Every monthās a vodka month for me! ![]()
@WillC I was wanting to add, we share our bank account details for the same reasons as yous. As for phones, if ones on charge its simpler to borrow the others for whatever needs addressed. Theres no lack of trust though, Iād never go through his texts anything like that because Iāve no interest added with the fact itās none of my business. He knows all my passwords and vice versa as we send new passwords to each other to remember. Maybe we are a strange couple, it works bloody well though ![]()
Think this is the correct place for the post to stop going off-topic on the other forum place ![]()
Itās something weāve always done since we got married, the bank cards are because we both have our own accounts where our wages go in, plus a joint account where we share the household bills. But if anything should happen to either of us, we wonāt have trouble accessing cash. As for the phones, if my OH is in the kitchen and her phone rings i can answer it if sheās left it in the lounge. She is welcome to look at my phone/see my emails etc and vice versa. But neither of us really feel the need to. Also my phone app icons are all in a logical/ most used/useful order. My OHās are all over the place, complete chaos! I have offered to arrange them logically for her, but sheās quite happy with the chaos! I guess it all boils down to what suits each couple. ![]()
Sure does boil down to whatever suits each couple, one persons weird is another personās wonderful. It would be so boring if we were all the same, weād be like robots ![]()
We answer each others calls too if the others in another room or if weāre āunavailableā - donāt want to speak.
Oh as for emails he asks me to go through his because when we taken our contracts out when I set up both phones we have the same email addresses so he receives my rubbish, his words ![]()
Itās definitely important to be able to access cash, we both have several accounts so always keep a card belonging to the other incase something happens then accessing cash is never going to be an issue ![]()
We dont have a joint account, he pays some bills I pay others but we have spoken about getting a joint account for savings towards big buys, our holiday for example.
It would drive me nuts if ohs phone wasnt organised, Iād have to convince him to let me fix it ![]()
Like you, it works for us! Trust me, my OHās phone layout offends me, but itās not my phone so i ignore the disorder! ![]()
Haha, I couldnāt cope with the disorganization but like you said itās not yours to change as your ladys cool with it and you know what they say, happy wife = happy life ![]()
Exactly!
Disorganisation anywhere is a struggle, but I also cannot look at OHās phone⦠folder what is a folder? Order, what us order?? I have no idea how she finds anything or even answer the phone for that matter!! I have to do breathing exercises if I see it!!! ![]()
Sounds familiar! Her home page has gaps where apps should be, then the often used apps are on other pages also with gaps! She wanted me to show her how to save a photo from Facebook recently, i couldnāt find Facebook, it was about 3 pages in! ![]()
Has your new silver wand arrived yet @David1986H was just wondering if the colour is as good at it looks?
@CurvyJilly yes, it arrived this morning and its beautiful. Sometimes its difficult to know whatās it looks like in pictures but im impressed. Very sparkly but not in a cheap way I donāt feel. Ive upload a couple of pics to the toy box so it could be a while before they are posted.
Are you thinking of getting it in silver?
No but like your suggestion in baby blueā¦bet that would look amazing. The white I feel looks cheap.
A nice blue would be nice, I feel more colours are needed and hopefully in the same finish as this new one.
@WillC Exactly, they ask for help then a) donāt listen about making it easier and b) canāt find itto deal with it, But donāt forget they itās their phone so what is the problem ![]()
we canāt win!!
@Buzboy my oh used to have no idea how to work phones, itās taken years of training ![]()
So on your homescreen you must have the most important apps right? For example, phone, text, WhatsApp, telegram, email, banking, Samsung notes, camera, gallery and so forth. However if you have a picture that can not be covered, thatād drive me bloody nuts
itās an order of importance anything of importance to you personally goes on the homescreen unless you cant fit everything onto it due to having a lovely picture of the oh, kids ex-etera or having lots of important apps. So start the next screen with the level of importance and so on, the last page will have the least used apps
obviously Iām not trying to tell anybody how it has to be done, that only applies to hubs ![]()
It took alot of training to get him upto my standards, I think itās worked as he is OCD too and being his mentor I taught him my way. No way, how do you cope? Have you suggested moving fb to one of those gaps that should be illegal on the homepage? Fb three pages in, thatās too funny being one of the majority of the worlds most used appās ![]()
I must admit one of my most used shortcuts is on my second page, not homescreen, just in case i have to open up my phone at workā¦the LH forum! ( but it is positioned so that itās one swipe and my in exactly the right spot to hit with my thumb!) ![]()
I am so far behind on here today just going to miss it out for nowā
I am on twins bed time and reading duty tonight so sorry guys not been here have a good night if I donāt come back today ![]()

My phone layout has to be perfect. Iām always shuffling things around as my usage changes. Why wouldnāt you?!
PC desktop is the same. No icons on the desktop. A few carefully chosen ones pinned to the startbar.
