This meme is me but without the phone numbers! I’m useless at remembering them, it took me about a year to remember my own mobile number!

Snap! I can barely remember my mobile number, the landline i can just about, but get confused with the dialling code, is it 01902 or 01922? (I lived in areas with both but can’t remember what the current one is!) Great with words, shite with numbers!

I still have my own number stored on my phone in my contacts…just in case!

I’m pretty good with numbers I know my mobile and a close family members mobile off by heart also all the family who have landlines too… I’m also good at birthdates.
It’s names I sometimes struggle with like people who I chat to locally who have told me their names several times but ??? blank.
Sometimes words and meanings. Ok at spellings and punctuation. (I think)
Also my sense of humour is a bit dark…but I don’t always “get” jokes.
I tend to take things literally too.
Basically I’m a nightmare.

I think since mobile phones came in it started many of us not remembering phone numbers, I have had the same number for 18 years I still don’t know it.
Since you don’t need to dial a number there is no need to remember it.

Strangely i still remember my best friend’s mom and dad’s phone number from when we were kids, 50+ years later!

Either Only Connect was harder this week, or I had brain failure. I was abysmal. Best round was the Wall, rest I got the odd one, but not a lot.
