Thanks @Kitty-Cat01 and @Shagger11 thanks both for understanding and not judging.
Iām only 5ft tall so every pound makes a difference
Iāve just spoken to Mr John about it too and he is wanting to support me.
Feeling more positive and love both your suggestions x
I know logically spiders are good. I tried to be good, get the spider in my room put outside. Instead it was dropped on my bed and now thereās a massive spider loose somewhere in my room that i canāt find i let a cat in to try and find it but i swear his eyesight is gone and Iām relatively certain he hasnāt killed it (heās a loud eater and i didnāt hear anything)
All I can think of now are the sounds of a cat chomping on a spider!
Actually the thought of one running loose in a room is worse for me than attempting to capture it.
To be fair heās not loud specifically eating spiders, heās just loud in general. Youāll hear him quite clearly even if heās not actually eating anything
I wonder why dogs donāt seem to go in for the whole spider eating thing? Or maybe it was just our dog that didnāt. We once saw a massive spider run right over his paw when he was laying down and he just looked at it as it scurried off!
Had one in the lounge on Saturday and our dog was after it, but i saved it with a tumbler and piece of card!
Maybe itās to do with the hunting instinct? I think it was more bred out of most dog breeds than with cats
How about moths? anyone got a problem with them. I had a spider and a couple of moths on my ceiling last night. I let the spider go about its business. The moths ā¦
Clothes moths i splat. Garden moths i safely release outside.
Clothes moths are so tricky, but have to go, if I can get them (without destroying the bedroom )
Whatās the difference between those? It may sound stupid but i havenāt really heard that distinction before (though i can guess clothes moths are probably the ones that eat clothes)
Normal moths get attracted to light and are often a reasonable size. Clothes moths are small and really fluttery and have expensive tastes, literally, destroying woollen clothes like cashmere. They donāt seem at all interested in light, just clothes. They change direction really quickly and are smaller anyway so can be quick tricky to get
Huh i think i may have accidentally killed a clothes moth last night then (it was flying in weird loops so i thought it was injured)
Garden moths are mostly like a butterflyās dowdy sister. Clothes moths are about 1cm long and you usually find them in your wardrobe!
I had coat eaten by moths years ago. It was one of those āhippyā style sheepskin ones with all the embroidery on it. I hadnāt worn it for years and when I took it out of the wardrobe it literally fell to pieces! And at the bottom of the wardrobe was a pile of moth casings!
@wildflower my boss keeps his moths in his wallet boom boom
Eee yes moths are vile too!
Not quite as bad as spiders but still make me shudder
Hahaha. Love it!
Thanks @Melody1
