Hmm that’s quite an innovative solution. I’m just trying to think, I can’t honestly remember what clearance is like at the back of the shed (I’ve put a tall garden storage unit next to it since) but the storage unit could be moved out and there may be enough clearance to get around the back, jus not the right side (hedges). It might be something that gets done in the new year now but I shall have to rally the troops and see what we can sort out. Thanks for the idea.

You don’t joke! :joy:

Thanks for the idea. I got a couple of bait boxes and some rodenticide bait from Amazon, it’s bird seed that they’ve been going after (since binned, replaced in tins and moved) so I thought grain is grain, right? Wrong! I’ve been meaning to get some chocolate spread (to mix with the bait) and bleach (for the cleanup effort). That’s next on my to-do list, right now I’m finishing up a post that should have gone up when I was dealing with the aftermath of Storm Darragh! :joy:

That’s part of work outside of here

Also good for other situations too :heart:

I highly recommend borrowing a pair of terriers for an hour - way more effective than traps and poison!

It’s an effective solution, just didn’t think it was a viable solution here.

:joy: You’re probably right, it wasn’t an overly serious solution and not one to be used if poison has already been tried, obviously… but the farm terriers are still, by far, the best pest control on the farm where I work.

Just did a photo shoot for the Christmas Photo thread . I rushed to much and stockings not even or lace not rolled correctly . Also neither bra or panties not lined up where they need to be . Since wife has zero interest in assisting , I wish I could find a helper . Preferably a female with an interest in sex , like ladies that are here . Maybe I will try again tomorrow .

I remember a choir leader I once sang with taking the piss out of me for planning Christmas to the nth degree. You can imagine my reaction when I found out that for that Christmas, he forgot to go and pick up his turkey

For everyone, today was better. Still not as good as I hoped, but it was ok. I’m a bit relieved.

@Long-John-Silver I had to roll my eyes at that! :winking_face_with_tongue::joy:

I’ve got one, he’s more interested in tennis balls. My last one would have stopped at nothing if he smelled a rat, literally :joy:

@KinkyMira I’m so glad to hear it. I’vs spent a few hours scrubbing down the shed with “the boys” (hubby and upstairs neighbour). Damage fortunately isn’t as bad as we feared, most of our Christmas stuff and some travel bags condemned but not much besides. Carrying on tomorrow, neighbour told me to let him know when I plan to go out there as he’s letting me borrow his industrial vacuum. I guess it’s a date :joy:

I hope things are ok @KinkyMira Hugs all around from the community. Try to take time to relax if you can and remember forum members are always here.

Cheers @steve19, it was just disappointing really.

I we talking about your contract work? If so it is their loss I my eyes. You always seem to contribute so much to your work and I am sure put 110% into anything that you do. @KinkyMira

It’s been a fun 24 hours here: a week ago my poly ex told me he loved me more than he thought he did and wanted to work through our problems, which took me by surprise, and that was the last I heard of him. I messaged him a few days later (14th) just to say I hope he’s well, but that if I didn’t hear from him within a week then I would be moving on with my life. I went to check on him on Facebook last night, again, just because I still care and still hadn’t heard from him, only to discover that he’d blocked me. He posted on Facebook (hubby sent me a screenshot) that he was “detoxifying” - so basically, I’m “toxic” to him because I have boundaries around my time, something he knows is valuable to me (I lost my Dad at 60, I know time is precious).

Honestly, I’m laughing in disbelief, but he’s played himself: we know exactly the kind of people who don’t like boundaries, don’t we folks? I emailed him (just) to thank him for blocking me instead of commuciating with me (this guy’s a BDSM mentor mind you, someone I held in reverent regard until now) and told him never to contact me again, and that I will treat it as harassment if he does. He even tried to cheat on me once but expected me to forgive him on the grounds that the other girl never showed up (I did take pity on him, because I’m nice like that). He chases girls and now expects me to chase him if I want him, despite saying a week ago that he’d considered chasing me down to talk things though. Long story short, he thought he could play me at my own game; he thought that I’d treat him different to how I treat any player. Nah, a player is a player, I was just letting him know that I’ve since seen him for what he really is and the door is now firmly locked and armed

Glad you’ve got a chapter of your young life concluded, and with hubby beside you as your rock and shelter able to move on the way you want to together.

On another note I will need your input soon on a Christmas gift for Mr & Mrs Buzz  I’ve been doing me best to keep to the rules.

You’re absolutely right, it’s just a shock because one minute he was our friend/partner/co-Dom and then that. It just makes me wonder what I did to deserve such disrespect but it’s definitely changed the way that I see him.

For Mr & Mrs Buzz? Do you still here from them? I haven’t seen or heard them around in a while.

I have not heard from them, As I say with many things. Life comes first, but I made a promise and I intend to keep it as all good D’s do.

You’ve said it before but a Dom that’s not there to support or care for a sub, to take the subs needs and make them their own and even when they move on separate and untangle their lives amicably and give back power without surgically removing it and keeping it leaving you adrift. Is not a good Dom for anyone and is best at minimum kept at barge pole length.

I wish you all the best going forward if with Hubby/Dom or more I’m sure you will find your balance. It could even be the first harem of many Doms and 1 sub. I’ve heard about.

It’s a fine line though, isn’t it, between upholding a promise and wasting your time where it’s not wanted?

I’m just deeply surprised by him and his actions, he was a good friend one minute and then this. if there was a reason for him to do what he did, at least an email would have been nice so that I could have had the chance to apologise and end things amicably. What he’s done has left me wondering if he’s had some kind of psychotic break because it’s so out of character for who I knew him to be, especially towards me.

Thankyou for the good wishes. It’s funny you should mention harems though, one of our arguments was over his use of the word “harem”. He wrote a blog post (he’s also a blogger) that aluded to him having a “harem”, I realised right there and then that this was far more about his ego than it was about me.

If all else fails a little mischief and fun with a counterpart hopefully brings a rainbow to your day.

You gave me a rabbit hole to wander down and through. :open_mouth: @Tenshadesandme
