Well my dirty weekend didn’t start as well as @KinkyMira or @WaveyAlien’s dry mud and dirt fun
I’ve been painting a shed roof with bitumen paint and it doesn’t matter how tidy you try to be some part of me always gets painted, there’s nothing better than getting down and dirty with your hands especially if there’s someone to join you. If not there’s always the shower. so now I’m off to the gym before an evening of work.
Bitumen paint layering between the different layers of felt is a minimum for the West Coast of Scotland. I’ve getting better and no longer just paint with my hands.
I would suggest crimping it back on too. But remember to only crimp from the left side; the side where the material is within the tag bit. This will ensure you maintain the shape of the tag so it fits into the zip - hope that makes sense.
@ibanez_rg2550 As others have said, crimping it back on might work. Otherwise, you could take it to an alterations shop and ask if they can fix it - they might be able to fix it or they might replace the zip with a new one. It probably won’t be cheap but likely cheaper than buying a new one!
Depending where you got it from and whether they still have the same item available, you could enquire about an exchange bearing in mind it had only been worn twice before breaking. They might consider it to be faulty and therefore eligible for an exchange.
Gonna give it a go, I haven’t really had time to sit down with it and have a look with work etc.
It was a LH basque, the treasure me one I think it’s called. I’ve brought a lot of lingerie from here and never had any issues apart from this. Don’t really fancy spending another £40 if I can be fixed for a few quid/free
Thank you @Biscotland … I have to look good at work, and I like looking good (and I cant change what nature gave me so I “window dress” it) … when I think I look good, I feel great (Pen and Mr W both have critical eyes so tell me what suits) … plus I have had a “bit of time” to collect different gear, and I spend a lot of time in LH underwear shop …
And you sure make a mighty fine job of it Mrs @Wurger …
If I were still working in the City, I would defo be keeping an eye out for “The Lady in Red…or Green…or White…or Lace”
