@Peitho I too remember the summers of my youth being full of different species of butterfly. As a child I just took it for granted things would always be that way, it’s sad that over the years we’re generally seeing less and less of these beautiful creatures.
Butterflies in my garden seem to be a bit camera shy, literally as soon as I get my phone out they’re off!

That has been my experience with the Peacock butterflies this year, thankfully the others have been far more accommodating!

The overall decline is very sad , but I take heart that I’ve barely seen any Red Admirals or Peacocks the last few years but they seem to have survived and are back with a bit more force this year .

I have noticed a massive decline in insect life over the last 15 years. Used to drive 200 miles down to Devon and the front of the car and windscreen would be splattered with dead bugs, similarly driving back at night it would be the same but with moths. The last 15 years the car would be spotless. It was slightly encouraging that coming home a couple of weeks ago during the early hours there was a fair few moths on the windscreen.
Also when i was a kid you only had to lift a brick in the garden and you’d see shiny black beetles. Nowadays I see none.

Shame i never see them, and i have an insect friendly garden!

My main issue with them is that I was brought up being told they were Alexander Beetles, so that is what I’ve always called them (I think due to the A.A. Milne poem). Turns out, there is an Alexander beetle but it’s only found in New Zealand. These are Bloody-nosed beetles :woman_shrugging:t2:. I think I shall continue to call them Alexander .

It’s odd how location specific some creatures are. I grew up thinking hares were really rare because I lived in the country but had never seen one in the flesh. I have now moved… within the same county(!)… and see multiple hares every day!

We had 11 hares running around the field behind us last march. We see a lot of them round our neck of the woods.

So you consider 30 mins to be a long session eh? For us a long session is around three hours. And that was before my husbands ed. Now its more !ike four. I am knackered at the end.

Four hours and he has ED? Cannot imagine what the two of you are doing for four hours.

Hopefully lots of fun things.

I could explain. It normally involves massaging lots of foreplay and i mean lots for him and me. He can now penetrate me and can keep going for quite a while if he doesnt finish due to cock ring then i give him a bj until he does. Then we move onto the toys, i can orgasm many times and can go on and on until i am exhausted. Then after a rest its round two i can normally get him back up again and so on. Time flies when your having fun. But i do wish sometimes we could have just a quicky to be spontaneous. As it is we have to know what we need to have ready in advance. When my eye is fully recovered we are going to try the injections in his penis to see if they can help.

Sounds like his ED isn’t too bad if he can get up again after a bit of rest. Sounds like a fun few hours. I assume you are a bit older if ED is an issue AND you have hours of free time - no kids.

Great idea about the ice. The OH would do that and give me BJ but I’ve forgotten about that. Going to do it to her clit the next time.

Yes we both took early retirement. His ed is better than it was 6 months ago but he needs the cock ring to keep it up. I have no trouble getting it back up but it is just keeping it up, which is where the cock ring comes in. 6 months ago it wouldnt get much larger than a chipolata sausage with a bit of hanging skin, so we have made great progress. No kids so no grand kids just the two of us to do what we want when we want.

Sounds like a good retirement! :slightly_smiling_face:. I know there are guys on here that have ED, perhaps you could share what you have been doing over the last 6 months to improve his ED situation.

We have actually got information from another forum member that has put us on to the injections. Hope they will work. My husbands ed is due to diabetes, which means he has to lose weight and get his sugar levels lower, which is what he is doing which is why i think things have improved. But there are lots of reasons why ed is a problem for some so different things might work for other people.

@Wood-Nymph I am very impressed with you and your husband, I have suffered with ED for about 8 years. All started around the time of my first heart attack. Is it the blow job that gets him up again or just stimulation?

The bj works every time. Start with the hand until its a semi cover it with the peppermint lube, put the zip tie cock ring on loosly then start the bj until it gets as hard as possible then strangle the little bugger with the zip tie and away we go.
