Hiw about we agree normal self-care things, a minumum of two of them a day? You know, have a shower, brush your teeth, eat your fruifs and veggies, exercise for 30 minutes. Câmon guys, Iâm used to negotiating and winning. You can literally not say no to an awesome offer like this

I heard about that. Being British and not that big on politics I wasnât sure who Charlie Kirk was, but however you feel in politics, I donât agree with resorting to violence, especially not when innocents (and apparently his family) will now live with the memory. I do hope the offender is bought to justice.

As I have said previously, the boys get little treats now and then either as an incentive or, as in this case a thank you for the efforts they have put in over and above usual work⌠they have pushed through an enormous amount of work this past week without any errors @steve19 âŚâŚ so everybody wins in the longer run. In the short term, they get a tiny thank you from boss-woman (little old me)âŚ. Love xxxx

Seriously, we donât get as hot as central Spain. During July and August, they are in the low to mid 40âs degrees C, and that is scorchio!
We have had low to mid 30âs this year as we are right on the coast, but the humidity goes up. We havenât had any rain since March and the reservoirs are currently at 50% capacity, which is better than last year.
As @Iwill can testify, the temperatures are more comfortable now and we still have the blue sky. The sea is cooling down, so itâs ârefreshingâ when going for a swim now. There are far less crowds now as the Madridians have gone back to work. Over the next couple of months, it gets very quiet here, which is lovely, but we do miss the snow at Christmas. But, if we want that, the Sierra Nevada mountains ski resort is an hours drive away, and it beautiful there in the winter. xx

Yes, Mrs @Wurger,
For almost all of August, Spain âshuts downâ. Even hospitals go short staffed and plan not to do operations etc. Obviously A&E is still running 24/7, but care is dialled back. Cars stay parked in the streets for a month gathering dust, so parking is a nightmare here!!
Then after the first weekend in SeptemberâŚ.they all go again, like migrating birds!! xxx
