but on a serious note, what do you think the best way to educate young people about sex?
the terminology they are using is awful. i thought it was supposed to be all clear language not stuff like "get it up and in" and "rubber up"

If you can't fit in your partner I'd say yes!

that would have to be quite big tho
btw what channel is thsi on?
LOL! If my OH was any bigger he definately wouldn't get in at all, we struggle now because I'm petite. To put it VERY bluntly I think with penises it's all relative to where your putting it and how tight you like it!
xxKPxx
I think the idea behind it is good, telling kids basic stuff and actually showing them what a naked person looks like. but they do it in such a condescending manner, like trying to make them "guess the gay" before eventually enlightening them that "a gay" can look "just like a normal person". I mean, what?!? Like a normal person? Way to totally miss the point!
Ditto for laughing at the old people: the ones who do have sex are made out to be a bit exotic ("ooh, look at gran knowing how to put a condom on!") and the ones who can't - because they can barely freakin' walk, if at all - are talked down to, too! She treated the whole thing like some kind of novelty, putting the freakish non-prudish old folk on display for our squemish amusement. Surely that's just reinforcing the concept of old-person sex as something a little bit ikky and weird.
Just feels like, with the kids especially, she's setting them up to say the wrong thing so she can come back and go "silly naive children!" and tell them the truth. Why try and embarass them by railroading them into saying something wrong?
Could you guess the STI??? Pointless filler if you ask me.
ok this sounds like its just getting stupid. Btw for those of you that are intrested in test like that, if you give blood you get a free STI (i know they are free anyways) test, and you have done something good at the same time

Very true KP! Not about yours or DD's 'size', that remains unverified on my end... External Media
What I meant was 'fitting' a partner... I find the whole size debate rather tedious! I'd rather be 5 inch and happy with it than 8 inch and insecure.

Surely another gameshow Noel Edmonds could present? He looks a lit like a hairy vulva...

Depends on the woman - like KP, I'd struggle with anything much bigger than my OH because I'm tiny and it's already painful!

Interesting question....is there a thread on this? If not, you should start one - I'd be interested in people's views! There may be one knocking around that you might like to resurrect.

Hmmm yup makes for an interesting game show!!!, These were slides of the infection WandA and they were to guess what it was and unless you are trained in that field then you have no chance.

NOT TRUE not all donations are tested, and the screens do not test for every STI. how awful would you feel if you gave someone who was seriously ill something so dangerous and potentially lethal
all donations are screened for HIV, HEP (erm 2 of them not all 3) and syphalis, so the really bad ones. But ALL donations are tested, as they take a sample of your blood and put it in test tubes ready to be tested while your still on the bed.
but fair enough, not all STI are screened for

They do make sure they rule out all risky behaviour *and* test for the major things that could be passed on...but to keep things quick it's preferable you have not taken part in risky behaviour.
You should definitely get tested by your GP or a GUM clinic to be completely sure. It only takes a few minutes.
Ax
As far as I'm aware all blood is screened but obviously not for all diseases including STD's.

Well i've had the clymidia test (free cinimar tickets External Media to encourge peopel to get it) but i've heard that one of them involes sticking a swab down your penis, ture or not?

and early stages of STIs are not often picked up. https://secure.blood.co.uk/c11_cant.asp
the risk is just too great to the other person. and tests are free at the doctors so theres no real need

The cotton bud doesn't tend to get used now and even more thankfully the serrated needle or "umbrella" as it was called before the cotton swab. Makes you think if they could do it with cotton rather than a needle who the heck decided to use a needle, some angry woman!?
Now a days it gets done through a urine test as I have had a full check before. :)

As Muz said - as far as I'm aware (I don't have a penis so I can't vouch for it) they don't stick anything down it anymore.
I don't even think they use speculums for women anymore though I always get tested when I'm in the gynae for other things (pain during sex every time - it's fun, you should try it :P) so I always have to have a speculum and can't vouch for that either...
