As you may have noticed in several posts I reference the regular use of prostitutes. My reason is I have no, nor have I ever had the pleasure of having a partner. I am obviously happy with doing it.
I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the use of prostitutes? Would you class it as normal or concerning behaviour?
Having never used one personally, I cannot comment from experience, but I don’t think that there is anything wrong with it, of course with the usual provisos around people trafficking and people being forced into it.
If it is a life choice of the person providing the service and it all consensual then it is simple a business transaction like any other, just slightly more pleasurable than some.
If you enjoy where’s the harm?
If it is the only way you can have sexual encounters (no partner) then i dont see anything wrong with it. You pay them for a service and they provide it. I would worry about STDs though and its not just the sort that can be solved with a few tablets.
So long as you’re both consenting adults then go for it.
I find your question interesting because while you say you’re happy doing it, it seems to me that you might be worried that it’s not “normal”?
My dear, “normal” is a settling on a washing machine. If you’re happy with it and it works for you, what’s the problem with it? It’s only a problem if you want a more serious arrangement and can’t find one for whatever reason, or if you’re disrespecting the women who provide these services. If you’re both happy with the arrangement, then you do you, and nevermind what anyone else thinks. Rock on and have fun 
If it is legal where you live, and emotionally you can handle it, I think it is ok. I have never been with a pro, or even a one night stand. I could foresee a day when it might be possible for me, if I became single again for whatever reason. I would be very concerned about STD however. Would not do it if I had a regular partner and risk their health.
Never used one but I’ve always thought it should be legal, regulated, safe and de-stigmatised.
I have a question I’m from the US and here prostitution is illegal in almost every state.
So we call them street walkers and are generally considered dirty and gross and usually forced in to it,
but we also have escorts who do it of their own freewill they can accept or denied clients or acts.
And escorts conduct their business in a clean safe environment unlike prostitutes.
So is that just something lost in translation.
I suppose I’ve always just lumped them all together as one. I’ve never knowingly met an escort, but I’ve worked next to red light districts in 2 cities and regulalry walked passed the women. Can’t say any of them looked happy to be there or in the peak of health.
Hubbys parents many years ago hosted a party, cant remember what it was for, but a work colleague of hubbys father always used to hire an escort to accompany him to any parties always a different one. This one looked like a high class escort, beautiful nails, elegantly dressed, perfect makeup and hair and very well spoken. Dont know if there was any sex involved after or if it was just as a companion though.
I wouldn’t think anything of it if you’re being safe and enjoy it and they are legit. We all have our pleasures
@Wood-Nymph I’ll openly admit its the only way I can get sexual pleasure. All women I’ve ask out on dates etc have found me repulsive​
@Tenshadesandme I was curious as over the years I’ve heard many opinions for and against and some people being mocked for it etc. I’ve never had any comments directed at me as no one who knows me has any idea that I do it.

@Latestr8 I’m in the UK so Police will arrest you if your caught with a street hooker. They will turn a blind eye to massage parlours as its off the streets. Majority of mine have been at parlours. The street ones I tend to take to a cheap hotel but there has been some occasions where I’ve gone to a derelict area so little to no chance of people walking past etc

@Peggingand_fun to be honest here in the UK I would say they’re 2 of the same thing. When someone would hire an escort the consensus is usually some for of sexual service
What you do in your free time is completely upto you so I don’t really have any thoughts on it. Just be safe and use protection

Where I fall is whatever two consenting adults want to do as long as they are safe.
I get it’s not legal in many places but we all get it’s the so-called oldest profession.
