Games that are played on foot with a ball are called football…
Clearly, games played on horseback, like polo are not football.
It is a common misconception that football requires the ball to be kicked.

Why yes our quaterbacks are known for their arms. And I remember a rugby player trying out for our college team. He got knocked out the first time he tried running, never came back. But it was a cute try.
But hey, they all have their appeal. And soccar players do make good punters. That’s the position doesn’t have to hit anyone.

In the NBA at the end of games, in 2 mins we would be lucky to see 3 seconds of game action.
It can take 17 minutes of real time to play out like the last 27 seconds of a game… 
Good job all our toys are charged and at a state of readiness. Won’t have time to watch sport, we’ll be going for gold in our own bedroom olympics.
