About 45 mins, I read that somewhere. Use a simple rubber bulb douche. I do it twice. That seems to work OK. Plain lukewarm water. Don't add anything.

I had the same concerns about cleanliness when trying anal for the first time, I was so worried about... mess that I think that's what put me off for so long!

Yep, simple and works a treat. Just make sure you fill it with as much water as possible. Otherwise it's just air.

I found that using the toilet and douching a few times (or till water runs clean if you have not had a bowel movement) works perfectly fine. I tend to do it 30 minutes prior to foreplay and have never had a problem, a beautifully clean ass hole all prepped for fucking :)

I have the shower attachment version and have a clear out about 2hr beforehand. I tend to go for the full enema though every two weeks or so to help with my energy levels. But just for play a good few flushes a good hour or so beforehand reduces the nerves towards mess. If I've already been that day (before play) I tend to just stick my bum over the sink and clean externally.

Good prep before you intend to do anything anal.
Refrainng from certain foods (fats/smelly,etc) increasing bulk, more water.
Then yeah follow the douche stuff above

But don't turn it full on! if its an electric shower as they are not intended to withstand the pressure caused by the flow restriction but can still be used safely with thought.
My wife and I have 2 enemas each first thing in the morning and use douces probally an hour before we think it's going to happen. After our enemas we soap each other anus liberally as far as we can get our fingers up there, then shower hose with cheeks pulled far apart. Everyone who uses our rear ends seem to satisfied!
