I usually use sex toy cleaner with my waterproof toys and sex toy wipes with my non waterproof toys as I’m pretty clumsy and worry about soaking them by accident.
This has worked out quite expensive on wipes and I was wondering if there was an alternative anyone has found for example would it be hygienic enough to use sex toy spray and wipe off with a baby wipe or something similar ?
I don’t want to put hygiene at a risk obviously so will pay for wipes if need be, I just wondered if there was any cheaper alternative that is just as hygienic.

If you're using an antibacterial cleaner with your toy, there is no need to double up with antibacterial wipes. You're basically doing the same job twice :)
I'd recommend sticking to a sex toy cleaner spray and wiping the toy with a damp cloth which you can throw in the wash :)
As jess said you don't want to be paying twice for doing two lots of the same job. A lot of the time I will just simply use warm soapy water and use an antibacterial cleaner for sensitive skin which is usually really mild and doesn't contain anything which breaks down the toy.
Sex toy cleaner is great and it's usually enough to clean most toys unless your using them for anal or sharing them. But on a budget you can just use warm soapy water with an antibacterial at of soap, dettol have a great bar which I also use when I get tattoos as it's really clean and also doesn't irritate skin.

Sorry I probably didn’t make myself very clear, I don’t double up I only use one or the other. I use wipes for my non waterproof toys and spray for my waterproof toys. But I was wondering if it’s ok to use anti bac spray and wipe off with baby wipes instead of rinsing the toy as I’m worried about soaking the toy accidentally
Hey that's totally fine, sorry for just assuming! Ha. I would say rather than using baby wipes you can just use a damp face flannel. Most non waterproof toys are fine to get wet as long as it doesn't get near the electronics or battery compartment, but a baby wipe will be fine just try and get the 0% or extra mild ones as some cheaper ones can damage certain materials. Iv always just used water as stated above but must been careful. Hopefully that settles your mind but jess and others may have more tips for you!

Face cloths are literally the one thing I can't live without, use them for all manners of things! Glad I could help and hopefully it should save you a few quid!

As LK says: sprays are usually fine for use on your non-waterproof toys too.
Most non-waterproof toys really mean "don't take in the bath or shower or immerse in water" but they can handle a quic spritz and a wipe down.
As long as the babywipes you use don't have any oils or nasties which could irritate you, then that's fine!
But again, like LK said, face flannels are great for this too :)
