Tracking link in emails doesn't work

Hi,

I've made a few orders now and the last few times I've bought stuff the link that's in the email for the Royal Mail tracking code doesn't work properly (it opens a Royal Mail page saying 'sorry the page you requested can not be found).

it's not too much of an issue as I can still copy and paste the code, but I thought I should let you know incase it's an issue with the LH email formatting which can be solved, or just a Royal Mail issue :)

If it helps I'm doing this on an iPad.

Im on iphone and it's the same here.

I've had that problem too, just once so far, but then I don't always check the tracking.

I use my laptop.

some times take 24 hrs to catch up i think

I think this might be a phone/tablet thing, the same thing happens to me whenever I try and open any royal mail tracking links from my phone but it works just fine on my laptop. No idea why!

If i understand the way these things work then the problem is with the RM website. It detects you are on a mobile device and redirects you to its mobile friendly site and drops your tracking ref in the process. If you follow the link from a desktop or laptop pc it should work fine as no redirect takes place...

It's true what's being said that the issues only seem to exist on mobile devices but there's an easy solution. Just copy the number before clicking the link and then once you're on the Royal Mail site go to the "track package" page and paste the number.

Little tip just type the tracking code in maually on your mobile.

Hope this helps ;)

This happens when I try it on my mobile but I just copy and paste it like others mentioned above. It used to happen on my computer too a while back but they seem to have fixed it ![](upload://ez5kOkpKXRZOxjavAURYmQxVTau.gif)

No tracking for me at all, since I live outside of the UK..sucks.

WTBHAYBS?

What the bloomin' heck are you both saying?

Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, this does seem to be a problem on RM's end rather than ours. As others have suggested, you can still copy and paste the code into the tracker box.

QFT = quoted for truth ITNL = I tell no lie

WSSS!

(What Sum Sub Said!)
