Under the bed restraints / Ottoman

Hi. Long time away due to life and a toddler getting in the way

I bought on a whim a few months ago some under the bed restraints but haven’t had the chance (or to be honest the inclination) to install them yet. However, the main reason for my reluctance is that we have an ottoman bed. This means if you were to remove the mattress it would instantly spring up, revealing the storage unit under the bed.

I’m therefore unsure how I’m going to do this and wondered if anyone has had any experience? My only other idea is to sort of push it all inbetween the mattress and base and try come to the other side and try and drag it into place!

I don’t have an Ottoman bed but that’s how I’ve set it up with a bed against a corner of a room, so I’d say it works on that front.

We use them on an ottoman bed, we slid them under the mattress without the need to remove it from the base of the bed and works fine.

My mattress is heavy and I slid the restraints between the mattress and the base bc I can’t move it by myself. It worked. It’ll be easier with 2 people.

Not used it yet

Sounds like you’ve got a good idea to try out

Ours are fitted between the matress and the base and are left in situe. We just tuck the strap bit under the edge of the matress when finished with so that we dont have to faff setting it up again every time we want to use them.
