I had a catheter fitted once and for me it was a horrible experience. I don't think I could ever do it for fun.

Personally I have found it a tad painful. However, I may have to give it another go. I have met women who do find it pleasureable. Some find it a challenge, to see how big they can get. A few have said to me that it can lead to an intense orgasm too.

I'm sure she likes it a bit if she continues to allow you to do it? It is certainly an interesting subject, not sure if it's for me, but I've read a few articles about it since this thread started and it seems some women do really enjoy it. I think a how to guide and a beginners kit would open up more people to the idea of trying it.

As i mentioned in my post,use a proper sounding tool not chopsticks,pens etc,and i wouldn`t use anything less than 6mm diameter as anything less is too pointed.As men and women are constructed along similar lines urethra-wise i would say the 6mm rule applies to both sexes.Personally 8mm is comfortable for me,9mm is a struggle.
Reading this thread has gotme curious, but I'm so worried about UTI's. If a sterile catheter can give me infections, I worry that a sterile rod will be. I know for sure I wouldn't try to sound my cervix as I found the insertion of my coil uncomfortable and that was a small thing!

My partner never has. Womens urethras are shorter, so easier to get a UTI, plus I have an incredibly low immune system unfortunately.
