welcome back hgl nice to see you back

no plans my oh will be at work an we have never really been big on v day dont see what all the fuss is about tbh i believe you should show your ohs you love them everyday not just one day a year

Agree totally with this. Hub shows me every day how much he loves me.

I told him right from the outset that i don't want a fuss on Valentines day, because it means nothing. It means far more when he just does something on any other day of the year, i know then that he is doing it because he wants to, not because the day dictates it.

Personally I think Valentine's Day is overrated, it's just another day for me to be perfectly honest. I don't mark it's passing or anything like that.

Also doesn't help it's the anniversary of my grandmother's death :(

Myself and the OH are getting a nice bottle of wine in for the evening and see where it takes us!

Valentines day is delayed by one week, 21st is daughters birthday, she flies from London my wife flies from home and we have a weekend in Hamburg, basically food beer wine and good music for 3 days lol

As usual our daughter will put the dampers on bedroom activity but it's great to see them together and explore somewhere new.

A money making scam... which people fall into if you love someone why wait while Valentines day when everyone is doing the same thing?

I have never been one for following the herd

I hear you there Jimi

valentine's day...for me it's all hype I'm afraid.

I like romance but don't consider myself the typical romantic type. A time and place for it.

Absolutely love old romantic music though...big band jazz...smooth vocals...

like any other night in for me tonight....'er indoors feels the same way about it too....
