Viagra?

How has the ongoing use been for you as a diabetic. Have you had to change dosages based on your overall control?
I’m T1D finding tadelfil seems to not be having as a robust effect. and get shocking heart burn/reflux

I started taking medications of a similar nature quite recently, but I already like their effect. However, it would help if you understood that this is fairly strong medicine and should be taken cautiously. You need to go to your doctor and find out from him whether this medicine is suitable for you and in what doses it is safe for you to take. I use tadarise, as it was recommended to me by my attending physician, who is aware of all the indicators of my tests. I order this medicine on the website https://www.pillpal.to/men-s-health-1793/tadarise-20-mg-37373.html, along with all the other medicines I need every couple of months. I think it will be useful to someone, but again you should rely only on the opinion and knowledge of your doctor.

It has been years since I tried Viagra . As a heart patient I had a hard time ( sorry for the pun) to get my DR to prescribe it with my Cardiologist giving the go ahead . A tip from friends was to get 100mg tablets and a pill cutter . Cost was the same for 10mg and 100 mg at $10 a pill . I found that 25mg was plenty for me . Though one night when the wife was feeling extra randy I took 50mg and wow ! If I remember right I had a super erection four times that evening , but the first time I came was in a volume I have never experience before or after . Several of my co-workers were getting it without any doctors involved . At the time I was an EMT and highly recommended they get their DR to prescribe it along with telling their partners . So if they had bad side effects the EMS would have that info . I have not taken any in over 30 years . If my wife would become active again I might be “up to” taking it again .

I’m having the same issue, doctor would not prescribe it (I did not put up any resistance as was embarrassed to be asking at my age then 58) But I feel totally useless and considering a private clinic for advice. I think the heart tablets are possibly the problem. @Oldman

Don’t be embarrassed @steve19

Honestly GPs prescribe this daily and should be able to prescribe an alternative if Viagra is an issue with your current medication. It might be trial and error at first but there are different ones I’m sure one will be suitable.

Sex is a part of life that can be enjoyed in your 80’s and beyond. It’s good for your mental & physical health… & lots of other benefits too. Your GP will have heard it before…if it’s a tad embarrasing for 5 minutes but you get help and a step forward in your sex life then surely it’s 5 minutes well spent…

You are absolutely right @CurvyJilly I also think trying to get to talk to a doctor is half the battle. I must do something as mentally I think its wearing me down a little. Wife suffer with Endometriosis like and PIV very painful so not interested but I think erection would help masterbation.

Yes @steve19

I am with someone who suffers with ED and I saw and felt the mental pressure he was putting himself under to “perform”

Honestly go… because that 5 minutes could change your life and remember your GP has heard it all before.

We talked it through and tried 2 different kinds of treatment…both with success and he is in his 50’s.

Good Luck

It’s the same with HRT, they are reluctant to prescribe it after a certain age cos of risks of heart attack and breast cancer (and i suspect cost) But as we are living longer and deserve a sex life no matter what our age, your doctor should let you weigh up the risks, and prescribe something that will suit you and any medication you are taking.
You need to look after your mental health as well as physical, so your doctor should be sympathetic to you, and the need for a sex life of some sort. Don’t be shy or embarrassed, it’s what they’re there for. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah , I was quite young at the time and did not need them at the time . Others experimented with different drugs of the non legal kind . I choose to play with legal drugs for sexual fun . It was funny when I asked heart doctor , he said that is up to your general practitioner . I told him that he wanted an OK from you . His words were along the line of " If you want a super hard on , do not let me stand in your way " . And wrote the note to my doctor . Many people do not know it was developed for heart patients . That is why you must be careful using along with other heart meds .

You’re welcome! On unrelated issues I have seen the doctor and had some very embarrassing tests, but they are professionals and have seen and heard it all before, so don’t be embarrassed and don’t be fobbed off.

From a 77 year old:
I’ve tried it few times despite my GF thinking I didn’t need it. When trying it she couldn’t see a difference. 20mg…
We haven’t had PIV for sometime because we’ve both gotten quite big. It’s all hands and oral, which with her skills is great.
However, we’re talking about the position with me standing by the side of the bed and her on her back.
I’m very nervous about it not getting hard enough for this so I may try two pills, 40 mg. Not being able to get it in would be heart breaking. Also concerned with the time to get set for the position I’ll go down.
Agree with all above about with doc approval.
Regards side effects, I hate headaches so before using with my partner I soloed to make sure a fun time wouldn’t be killed by a headache. At least with 20mg no headache.
Experienced no staying up after the first time and actually didn’t try for a second round.
I suppose just having enough without the pill should make me more than happy.
Regards the “for an erection lasting 4 hours, get to a doctor”. Jay Leno stole my joke “call everyone you know!”

Hi mate, I suffer with ED and use medication for this. I plucked up the courage after suffering for years with it. I use sildenafil (generic viagra) usually but if my wife and I go away on holiday etc I take tadalafil daily for a week before and during the holiday. Works a treat! My doctor won’t prescribe as it is expensive they say so I just use an online service which is quite reasonably priced. Good luck
