Depends what you want it for? If it’s just to get hard then yeah it will do the job for sure, if you want to last longer, then you need to get a generic brand which has dapoxatine in it too, stuff like super kamagra? Both of them, brand name or not, get you rock hard for hours, but you gotta think twice if you’re on medication or have heart problems, I find my blood pressure raises a bit if I take any form of viagra, brand name or not, I can feel my pulse or I get a little bit of blood in my bogeys

I have had both the Kamagra and viagra just because everyone was doing it at the time not through need. Rather silly I suppose without prescription . I found after I had cum neither had any effect keeping me or getting me hard again. Next day gave me blocked sinus and eyes feeling like they had been punched in.

@steevo68 i agree with the blocked sinuses, that’s to do with the blood pressure, but I keep getting hard right through to the next day, not always a good thing when you wear shorts all year round! :joy:

@colinhill253 ive tried the ones you put in water like a vitamin c drink, that worked quickly, the gels kicked in for me within half an hour

Following diagnosis and treatment of a low testosterone level I have a repeat prescription for viagra. It works for me in that it produces a strong erection which last until I orgasm then it subsides. It does have side effects though. Light headedness and headaches are fairly common.
I would not advise anyone to use it purely recreationally

@rockstar have you ever taken testosterone replacement? Steroid injections?

Yes. My ongoing treatment is Testogel, a hormone replacement gel.

Only use if you need it.

You still need to have sexual stimulation.

My friend has used Viagra…sildenafil (same ingredients as viagra)…and tadlafil which is supposed to be the 3 day one.

He has to take 100mg and Viagra and the Sildenafil work the best for him.
No heavy meal with it or lots of alcohol ( ok with a pint or 2) it usually takes around 30 mins to work and lasts about 12hours but the first 2 hours are better. But still good enough for round 2 the next morning.

After effects for him are stingy eyes…blocked sinus and headaches.

The tadlafil didn’t work you are supposed to try them a few times though but he only tried it the once and decided to stick with the sildenafil.

@CurvyJilly sometimesi take anabolic steroid and part of your post cycle therapy involves kickstarting your natural testosterone production and along with some other drugs you normally use some sort of viagra/cialis, I’ve never had any issues with cialis, but viagra gets the job done but with higher blood pressure issues, if you suffer from high blood pressure then speak to a doctor first rather then order online, if you’re young and healthy then it should be ok, but I’m not a doctor so use with caution

Yes he’s been checked and has been taking them for 2 years now.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone just trying them without medical advice first.

@CurvyJilly absolutely it’s great at what it does, but can really cause problems if you have medical issues

I’m purely solo now and I was having problems maintaining an erection long enough to ejaculate whilst masturbating so I went to my doctor and he prescribed sildenefil /viagra and now everything is fine, sometimes I get hard two or three times before the effects of the tablet wears off. Only downside is I can only have 4 tablets a month, so it’s a decent wank session once a week.

Viagra is off prescription so it’s now available over the counter or by mail order.

Yes I know that, I don’t pay for my prescription so 4 free wanks a month will do me, lol

Fair enough.

I was prescribed Sildenafil which is generic Viagra 4 years ago. I was suffering ED following a bereavement and a stressful point in life.
I have very mixed views. It certainly works and gives me a rock solid upright erection. There are 2 problems in my view with it. Firstly, it’s somewhat addictive. Once you see what it does you feel an erection without is less of an erection, or at least in my case I do. I don’t know if I have an ED anymore but I do know my erections without the tablets are nowhere near as strong. Secondly, you have to take it 30 mins to an hour before sex. My girlfriend knows I take it but we try not to speak about it. Knowing when to take it is difficult and often times I’ve taken it then not needed to (if I thought we may have sex then later did not)
I get 12 tablets per month but they are 100mg and I only need 50mg for the effect so I break them in half therefore having 24 per month. By default a prescription is 4 per month but if you discuss it with a GP you can get more. You can also buy them in pharmacies now but they’re much more expensive. Definitely speak with a doc and don’t just take it though because it’s not suitable for everyone especially if you have other health issues. I’ve felt good to share this and hope it helps people.

Some really good points and insight, it’s definitely made me want to avoid it for the time being.

I have really found your information very useful. I have just plucked up the courage to talk to doctor but they have asked we check possible heart problems out first, this is now completed and am being referred back to the doctors/practice nurse regarding a heart review. I suspect the ED is caused by some medication i’m on but want to ask the practice nurse about changing med’s or viagra if possible.

@steve19 I’m glad you found it useful. I’m willing to talk about it more on here if you have questions or want to discuss any of it. When I was diagnosed with ED I didn’t really know who I could speak to about it and forums like this are good. It’s definitely not a “just you” thing, it’s really common. Speaking to a doctor is wise. They often do blood tests as they can find out some things from that. For example in some people it can be hormone levels that affect it, or other health conditions. It’s good to try and work out the root causes and they differs person to person.
