The dosage will be individual and something to discuss with your doctor.

As for women, it may have a physical affect on the clitoris but it won’t increase desire to have sex or mental arousal.

You should look up the side effects before you use them as they can be quite nasty if the incorrect dose is used if you haven’t been to the doctor and are buying them over the counter I’d start in a lower dosage. Not 100% sure but I don’t think they are recommended for females. If you suffer from ED I would get an appointment as there are a few options available.

I have tried it and found no more sex drive but it made me so wet so quick- so it does work if you want to climax quicker

No other effect apart from when I took it my tongue went blue with the tablet colour

Talk to your Dr. first if having an ED issue, I would talk to the Dr. regardless. I was having ED issues and sometimes have bouts of prostititis. Dr prescribed daily dose of cialis, done wonders. Woodie, now never a problem.

Never used it, I think as @Calie said on women it has similar effect on the clitoris as it does on the penis, which isn’t too surprising as they are both made of erectile tissue.

Would caution seeking medical advice before starting to use to ensure that it does impact any underlying health issues.

I have sildanafil on prescription although I rarely use it now. I wouldn’t advise you to use it recreationally without talking to a doctor first. There are side effects and contra-indications too.

I’ve read up but have no practical experience of its effect on women but stories of increased sex drive in women seem to be largely apocryphal.

From what i know it won’t increase your sex drive or give you instant erections in the penis/clitoris, it increases blood flow to those areas, but if you’re not turned on it won’t work.

Absolutely. You still don’t get an erection without stimulation. It just increases the blood flow so the erection is easier.

I’d think it’s better to try the lower dose first and see how you get on before upping it

From personal history I must suggest women not use it . Years ago my wife tried it against my opinion , she had one result that she did not enjoy . Her sinuses almost closed off completely . It took a few hours for symptoms to subside . If you are a male , talk to your doctor and see what they think may be right for you . Most often these days they start men out at 20mg . Back when I was experimenting 25mg worked great . Did try 50mg once , a bit much . The size of my erection did not change , but I produced crazy fun amounts of cum . For women they have finally developed a female version , it is called Flibanserin ( pink pill ) . Talk to your doctor !

You gotta be careful if you have high blood pressure too, and using generic stuff can be lower quality, I’ve used stuff before made my face flushed for hours, and small nose bleeds because of the effect on my blood pressure, and I higher dosage I tried once my vision even had a blue tinge to it for a while! But they all work the same way, they do the job, although most people say you have to be aroused for it to work, that is true, but you will still get the occasion random hard on when you least expected, not always a great thing when you’re out and about wearing loose shorts! :joy:

As a general rule, it’s best to take the lowest effective dose of medicines in order to reduce the risk of side effects. Viagra connect is available from a pharmacist in 50mg tablets (other brands are available), whilst 100mg is prescription only in the UK.
As far as I’m aware, the only thing it’s licensed for in the UK is treating erectile dysfunction in men. It may or may not work in women, but you’re talking about experimenting with prescription drugs, which generally isn’t a good idea.

Well, the only way to get it (appropriately, that is), would be to talk with your doctor and get a prescription. You’ll probably be started on the lowest dose first, and see how that goes. I’d avoid going around this step and trying to get it another way, because you don’t know if a freelance pharmaceuticals representative ( :smirk:) will be giving you the right thing, the safe thing, or an untainted product.

No, Viagra won’t work for women, aside from perhaps a firmer clit. It won’t have any impact on desire, which is a different function. There’s a different medicine for that, which will again require a doctor.

Viagra has side effects, so you’ll need to pay attention to the warnings. And another thought - a lot of ED issues come from general health condition. Some men find that losing weight, exercising, and improving their general health reduces or eliminates ED symptoms. Again, that’s a doctor conversation.
