I will consult my GP. I have a heart condition that requires a pacemaker. I suffer with anxiety and depression. I am on Sertraline for depression. I am on a lot of meds for various medical conditions. The online pharmacy link through Lovehoney would not prescribe for me. I am 71 years old. I cannot see me masturbating and ejaculating again. It feels grim and so upsetting.

Definitely go to the doctor if I were you. If you are 71 years old you should still be able to enjoy masturbating and having a good orgasm. Having regular orgasms each week would really help your anxiety and depression because of the endorphins that are released. It would really boost your wellbeing. Good luck with it, hope it works out!

So, i went to my GP today and came forth about my sexual problems. He established it wasnt anything phyiscal but was due to my mental health. I didnt really get to ask about taking Viagra as it was such a quick meeting.

Trying to buck up the courage to go to a Boots Pharmacy and see if i can get some tomorrow.

Really, don’t be anxious about going to get some Viagra. The staff will have sold tons of the stuff and the pharmacist doled out masses of advice on it. Certainly nothing to feel awkward about, they’ll just think “well, someone is on for a good time.” :beating_heart:

I wish I could pluck up the nerve to ask over the counter. I tried ordering online where you have to fill in a questionnaire. I failed on the blood pressure question so they wouldn’t process my order. :cry:

I think its just my anxiety putting me off and feeling embarrassed in a way. I think another part is im worried im going to fail a question and then get denied it :sweat_smile:

If you didn’t speak directly with your GP about Viagra and existing meds but your happy there’s no issue, could you buy it online?

I’d expect the questions re. health, medications etc to be the same online as in the pharmacy.

@user745 you must persist with the doctor/medical staff, i’m like you and cannot have viagra due to being on medication and GTN nitrate spray. I have now seen a doctor who has prescribed some cream that you inject/apply to the head of the penis. Has to be used in moderation but does work.

I probably could. The only thing is im trying to get some for this weekend. Probably should of orded it earlier in the week, but was waiting to speak to my GP first but seeing that sorta failed im looking at alternative options.

Im seeing if i could do something like Click and Collect but unsure if ill get it sometime soon

My husband ordered cialis together and viagra online from boots with no problems. Trouble is it did not work for him though. The diabetic nurse things he could have nerve damage as he gets tingly feet sometimes, which it seems is an indicator for ed with diabetics.

I am not diabetic but I do have tingly feet which are partly like ice and numb.

Hubby has tried it recreationally (with my knowledge) and the results were amazing. I don’t think it made him last longer as his stamina is good anyway but it allowed us to transition to new positions without him going soft. When he had finished he was able to get hard again fairly quickly after some kissing & cuddling so I got to have round 2 which I wasn’t complaining about. Obviously I’d say speak to a health professional before trying it but this is the sort of results we’ve experienced.

That sounds amazing, you’re a lucky girl.

All I would say is that if using for ED you might not find the results are as strong as those using recreationally. It has only on one occasion enabled my H to go a second round.

Went to Boots but couldnt pluck up the courage again :joy:

Ive checked on SuperDrug and done a quick survey for it. If i order by 5pm i should be able to collect it tomorrow! So thanks for the suggestion!

I think you will find questionnaires are mandatory when buying viagra. If no questionnaire I would question the site and the item you receive. Take care. @user745
