Vibrating Cock Ring - Problem

Hi all,

Tried a vibrating cockring a while ago and although the OH liked it I couldn't feel anything! Literally nothing it was far too tight.

I have a non vibrating one that feels fine, but it's non vibrating.

Are the adjustable ones any good and do they stay in place?

Cheers!

I got a rocksoff vibrating cock ring, and I can't say I loved it. I can't find my review of it now. It was awkward to keep in the right place, and uncomfortable and did nothing for me. If we could keep it in the right place my SO liked it (but then anything with an RO80 seems to hit the spot).

I have had other cock rings that have vibrated, and my SO has liked them - but none have done anything for me. I do prefer the feel of a proper cock ring, and I have a lovely stainless steel tear drop one that really works for me. I thought we bought it from LH, but I can't find it on the site or on my old reviews, but it looks like this:

Its really heavy and I LOVE it. It can be awkward to wear out and about though as it is REALLY heavy. For that I prefer more subtle rings like:

I have also had some prostate toys that my SO LOVES because the vibrations make it through me into her. I've seen a few cock rings with bottom parts, but I think these may fall into the "doesn't do anything for her" category. (unless someone has a better experience than me. That being said - there are some that I like that do nothing for her, and some that I like but arn't awesome (ie my RO rudeboy. Great toy and I love it, but its better for beginners, as it doesn't "stay in" - I really wish that I had gone for something like the bad boy or big boy).

I have reviewed the LELO Loki here:

This is one of the best prostate toys I have ever used. Its a bit on the big side, so not great for virgin bottoms, but very strong vibrations, and definately worth trying!

Hi sorry to hear that well if you feel Vibrating Cock Ring not working for you. Some men dont get turn on just by Vibrating Cock Ring and some do. It may be that if to tight to wear then I would say contact lovehoney on the live chat and get refund. I had one also that was tight but it was not purchased from lovehoney and it way to tight. I would say the best bet is to get a refund.

It sounds like there could be a size difference between this one and the non-vibrating cock rings you have. I would suggest sizing yourself properly and searching for a cock ring that's suitable in those dimensions.

Tilly actually did a couple of videos on this topic that you might find helpful.

For vibrations to work for me they have to be concentrated just behind my glans, I wear vibrating cock rings to give my OH a buzz but generally get very little back myself, I think this is probably common to a lot of us. If I want to give myself the hands free trip I wear a powerful vibrator just behind my glans. I have not tried prostate massage or vibration yet but have it in my wish list to try.

In fact I think when look through our own toy collection the greater part of it is aimed at giving my OH the big-O rather than on sending me to heaven. (there is a photo on my profile page of our current collection)

I find that watching my OH's face when she climaxes is the biggest turn on for me, almost guaranteed to toake me over the edge with her.

Is it designed to please man?
To my husband the vibrator doesn't pleasure him but the cock-ring does give him good hard-on. Often we find it getting into our ways when I'm on top. I have my reservation.

4U, It's designed to make an erection harder for longer. Some people find them pleasurable to wear, others don't. It might be that he isn't one of those people or it might be that the vibrations aren't strong enough for him. It is working though as the purpose is to strengthen an erection.

I'm not sure how you mean that's it's getting into your way but if it's a vibrating cock ring then try placing the vibrating part against the clitoris and sort of grind against it. If you're having issues with certain positions then try and alter them slightly until it isn't in your way.

A couple of questions: Are you placing it far enough down the shaft? Does it fit him correctly? Have you tried different ring thicknesses?

Hi NatandTm, thanks. I'm sure it's only us feeling this way. Which ever directions he wore them the vibrating part are not powerful enough to stimulate his penis and my clit. It's not that we can't feel the vibration delivery but tickling sensation only. Having to press and grind my clit against a bullet thick vibrator and an inch length is little sore after a long grinding. So we prefer the doughnut and the steel cock ring instead.

If you are using vibrating cock rings effectively, please share your experience with me. Thanks in advance.

From My POV I thought the ring part was for the guy to improve the intensity of his erection and the vibe mainly for cliteral stimulation... The bloke getting stimulation from that, is low down as part and parcel of the device, I took that as a given.

Speaking for myself here, the location of the vibe is totally at the wrong end of my penis to do anything for me, I guess there could be more intensity that is transfered through intercourse, that might effect things, but I've never viewed the design as anything other than cock erection aid for him/ clit vibe for her.

Hopefully I'm gonna learn something new with this thread.

Hi TD, Think I'm wrong but I have the same conclusion about the VCRing. Regardless of the size and positions, it just couldn't stimulate his duck. Hopeful those who have benefited from using VCRing could share your experience. I wish to learn from you.

I find that vibrating cock rings with a second vibrator that dangles below the clitoral one does provide pleasure as it hits your ball sac as you thrust, all the ones i have bought,i got from Lovehoney,so it may be an idea to try one.

I've not used one before, but it sounds like your trouble is mainly that the vibrations aren't strong enough? Perhaps try another that's built to produce stronger vibrations?

Tiger Dick, yes something like that, also,on you inward thrust,if you hold against your partner, you both get the vibrations from the bottom piece.

My humble understanding of the design and its intended purposes of VCring are: 1) to enhance the stiffness of the penis. This is achieved by wearing a ring having its diameter smaller then the girth of your penis base. Blood is trapped in the manhood resulting in a solid erected penis. Attached vibrator has little to no effect on stimulating the area around the base of the penis. There are no direct nerves stimulation relative to the sensitive penis gland. Hence I'm just wondering if there are male who cum while playing their balls without stroking his penis? Maybe there are but my husband couldn't achieve it. 2) why need a vibrator then? Could it be for her clit and other parts around her opening? Lots of sensistive nerves and stimulating for the virgina. There are many times I could just feel his manhood thrusting but orgasms is far fetch. However when a vibrating bullet or wand is placed against my clit, the world became mine. Definitely there are plenty to learn for me from this thread. I'm hopeful more VRring users could share your thoughts with me.

We have this:

It's really good. My husband finds it comfortable but w found the best sensations were pulses. A constant buzz numbed him so he felt nothing.

G-SPOT Lover vibrating cock ring
http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=31236

Hi RosyCheek and thanks. My husband has no problem obtaining a full erection. The cock band/rings just enhances his manhood and holds back his urge effectively when he wore them during sexual intercourse. The 4 different vibrating designs of VCring we own have no significant impact towards our orgasms. Perhaps it's just us.
Btw, my latest purchase from LH is the G-Spot lover VCRing. It's pretty effective when I wore it on my fingers to achieve orgasms. Snappy and handy.

Just an aside, does a vibrating cock ring make for better anal sex?
