Vibrating nipple clamps that stay on

I've found several threads about nipple clamps, but not any that appear to address this particular problem...

A couple of years ago, I bought some vibrating nipple clamps for my wife to try out. They had small sprung clips on the ends and an adjustable screw to set the minimum gap. When I first applied them (gently, and on the widest setting), my wife was intrigued by the initial sensations. However, we couldn't get the darned things to stay on for more than about a minute -- after that, her nipples would do a Houdini-style escape and pop out of the clip.

Needless to say, this was frustrating for us both. I tried undoing the screw progressively to narrow the minimum gap, but this seemed to make matters worse -- either her nipples would pop out even more eagerly due to the increased pressure, or I wouldn't be able to fit them into the clips in the first place. After quite a few repeats, the routine started to become comedic, and we both lost the mood and the will to continue.

My impression was that the clamps were simply way too small -- although I see that other LH products are similar. I don't think my wife's nipples are gigantic, but I'd expect to be able to get her whole nipple into a clamp, and that's just not going to happen. Obviously, with only part of the nipple gripped, the vibrations are likely to contribute to easing the clamp off.

Has anyone else had the same problem? Am I missing something about the way that these toys are supposed to be used? Is there a better product for us out there?

Many thanks for any thoughts!

mm i seem to have had the same problem too,it's almost like the nipple get's scared and doesn't want to play !!!

maybe you should try pumps?

I've never had good luck with nipple clamps, either the tweezer shaped ones, or the weird squeezie ones like this:

They never stay on, and just end up irritating me. And I can't imagine adding vibrations would improve the ability to stay put.

CH - had the same problem (same clamps?) - it seems they need screw tightening adjusters rather than limiters. The springs aren't up to much, and the material is too smooth to give a firm grip, especially when they're, you know, vibrating intensely!

Mind you, I do really like things that stay put, even if they're less comfortable. Especially if they're less comfortable... Not sure Mrs M would wear anything too grippy, anyway.

Thanks for those replies. It sounds as if it's a common problem! I imagine that it shouldn't be too difficult to solve -- indeed, I may try out some DIY modifications.

I'll also take a look at pumps -- thanks BlueStar!

Easy to solve? Not sure, because nipples are different for everyone. So I guess its a bit of miss and hit. I want to try nipple clamps, already have a clit one, but I am worried about then falling down, especially because my nipples are basically flat and hard to get erect

I found in the past that vibrating clamps are in general a waste of time. Ive a pair of metal screw type clamps which are very effective but also very painful , but having said that they would take some pulling off. They are attached to each other by a chain and i often attach a leash and lead K around by his nipples. Im told this is very painful, in fact he has begged me to stop in he past. X

@ Laveila and Mistress D: Thanks! It sounds as if the products are hopeless, then. My aim certainly isn't to induce pain (at least, not beyond mild discomfort).

Oddly enough, I was wondering about clothes pegs. I've tried them before (having loosened the spring) and they seemed to stay on fairly well without being painful.

I never said anything about them being hopeless! If they get good reviews then they are not, at least not for some. I just have nipples which are... very difficult. I have seriously completely flat nipples and thats where the problem would start for me. My nipples dont get erect easily and they tend not to stay erect - thats my problem, not a problem with the product! Also the nipple size would influence greatly in terms of the clamp fit.

Fair point! I've fairly much reached the conclusion, though, that they're likely to be hopeless for me and my wife, given the problems that we've had and the lack of any compelling alternatives. I accept that mileage may vary for other people, though.
