Video editing

Anyone use capcut for video editing? And Is it any good and worth paying for subscription or is there something better to use ?

Are you Windows or iOS, are you wanting free software or do you have a budget and what do you expect to be able to do with the editing software.

iOS inbuilt editing software is all you are likely to need for a pro amateur setup

Capcut/bamdicam/windows own are all fine, there’s a lot of the pro stuff you don’t need but some require you pay if you want to edit and produce in higher resolution’s.

I’ve used them all, although at the moment anything I need to edit is on iOS.

I put together reels etc using the app Splice, if that helps?

I just use iMovie for reels. Does everything I need it to.

That’s one of the best oxymoron I’ve seen in ages. Very impressed.

i dont mind paying up to around £10 a month just want to do it on my samsung s24 phone . Mainly i need to pixilate faces in videos and backgrounds not sureif i can do that without paying for subscription?

Do you have to pay for that?

Thank you, I aim to please :joy:

iMovie is iOS apple and mostly for their desktop editing

There is a video editing software inbuilt into Samsungs own software and there are tutorials on YouTube to watch and help.

I do! Well worth the subscription if youre doing color grading or using transitions, otherwise no need

What do you mean reels (i am a true beginner) is this for producing videos for such things as utube /fansly , onlyfans. How difficult is it to find content on these sites.

If you are a Linux user , there is ShotCut that works very well.

For windows Video Studio is great for beginners.
