I wanted to start this thread in hopes of learning more and getting a chance to share my experiance with VR Porn.
Keep in mind I am new to the VR world and if I am incorrect about something I posted please correct me as I do want to learn more.
VR comes in many formats and resolutions pretty much in the world of VR you get what you pay for.
One of the most important things to understand about VR porn is resolution of the movie you intend on watching.
If you buy a cheap headset like google cardboard and watch a low resolution poorly made video and a old low resolution smart phone you will be completley turned off and get totaly disapointed the pictures will be very blurry and not realistic at all.
For this post I will focus on Smart phone VR since so many of us have a decent phone allready.
At the moment if your lucky enough to have a 4K display on your phone and good internet wifi and pair your phone with a good quility headset with blue light blocking technology for safety and built in headphones you will be on your way to one heck of a VR experiance.
Ok so you have a quaility phone good wifi and a headset so now what?
Now you need VR porn content, there are many porn sites that offer many samples of VR, yet the the one site that seems to have alot of VR content of varying quaility is PornHub, no fees no email address just search the site for VR and many titles will come up. the paid mambership offers full lenght movies some over 40 minutes long.
I like to search for movies that are longer than ten minutes.
Once I found a VR movie I want to watch, I click on the play button and the movie will pop up on the screen yet it will not start until you input what type of phone and headset and if you use a controller or want to use the gaze function by looking around normally down for a menu you can activate just by looking at the menu.
This is where I have been having problems because out of all the headsets on the market not one listed in the list of supported headsets shows my headset.
This is because one headset made by company x can be picked up by another company whom made a few changes to the headset and rebranding it.
So this leaves you picking a headset at random playing the movie adjusting the headset and cross your finger hoping you found one that works good with your headset.
This leaves me wondering if I will ever get the best experiance without buying a headset that is on their list of supposted devices.
With this in mind before you purchase a headset it is best to make a list of all the headsets on pornhubs videos and make a selection from that list based on reviews and research on your own which should include phone compatibility and is your phone will fit in the headset with or without a protective case like the otterbox.
For the most part I suggest using VR with no case and a very clean screen. (remeber clarity is everything when it comes to VR )
A case like the Otter box even if it fits will hold the phone too far away from the adjustable optics and can effect the size and shape and position of people in the film, leaving you disapointed.
I did not buy the bluetooth controller that allows you to control the volume and play button fast forward etc, with this in mind without the controller you have to use the gaze function to control the video which can be a pain if your laying down in bed and have to sit up to look down to adjust whatever you want to adjust. buy the controller it will make your VR session that much better.
My setup is a ETVR Virtual reality 4.0 headset with built on earphone and like mentioned I use a iPhone 7.
The best setting so far I have found on PornHub or any site is using the VR Kix as my headset device even though I own a ETVR 4.0 which is not listed.
With this setting I have seen crystal clear super immersive resolutions as high as 2160P
Using other headsets listed I have seen 4K yet the dual pictures would not align properly.

Ok at this point how about the VR experiance when watching a professional grade film at 2160P or higher.
This is where you need to decide how good your internet is and how good your wifi is and where you plan on using your headset, if you have too slow of a connection the videos will not load properly and may cut off and on during play.
With this in mind for the best experiance you can download a video to your phone but unless the video is a free one you will have to sign up for a premium membership which is ok yet it is best to stream these movies if your hardware wifi will allow it.
Vr movies contain alot of data to make sure your cell phone is set to not use celluar data, you can quickly max out your data plan, even if your on a unlimited plan your data rate will slow down once you exceeded a certain amount.
BTW for VR porn or VR anything to work on your phone you will need a VR software app, I just use google carboard but since myheadset did not come with a QR scan code I had to skip that part of the setup. yet my VR works pretty decent with most quaility films.
Here is the part that took me off guard about VR porn and what I like about it and could do without.
First off Porn is Porn you think you know what you like until you experiance VR.
For me while wathing standard high resolution Porn I normally will pick a POV movie that features a Woman I would in real life be super turned on by, I love dark long hair a tan fit body with above average breast real or fake and I love super full red lips and a sexy inviting voice.
What I found odd about VR I no longer look for my dream woman. I find myself looking for what I do not get at home enough which unforunatley is intimacy, closeness and personal attention not just sex or sexual acts.
I found several movies where the woman would be on top and act like she is kisisng you or whispering in your ears and other foreplay I no longer get to enjoy because of my bad neck and back.
I find that VR movies anything that is close to your face is super clear and realistic yet images that are down by your feet or crotch my not be as clear.
I guess you can say VR made me realize just how much my OH and I are missing from our current relationship. which is something I plan on working towards making better.
