We have a hot tube at home and were wondering if anyone has suggestions on toys that are designed for underwater operation? We were also interested in lubes. Thanks!

I have gone through loads in the hot tub- while waterproof they are generally no good in warm water

Most waterproof vibes are designed to be waterproof as far as a clean under a tap is concerned or play under a shower/in a bath.
Water pressure increases really fast, anything below 30cm of water starts to become quite challenging.
You can look for toys that are advertised as usable in the bath, but I wouldn’t be surprised lifespan could be very variable in a hot tub. I’d also look for magnetic charging rather than hidden port charge point.

Well, this only works underwater and is a very effective clitoral stimulator… I think it has been discontinued by Lovehoney since I got mine though. Probably too pricey for it’s limited usability.
I personally, have had no problems using certain toys in the hot tub without issue. Wands (waterproof ones only, obviously) work very well. My Mantric has had both hot tub and bath outings and suffered no ill effects, though I would definitely advise a thorough water only wash after a hot tub outing as there’re a lot of chemicals flowing through a hot tub that probably aren’t great for silicone. My Mantric Rabbit is also a good bath time play mate, just make sure any charging points are thoroughly dried out before putting away or putting on charge.
Avoid suction toys, mine are waterproof but obviously the vacuum seal won’t work under water if you place it in situ after submerging.
Lubes are trickier, I’ve never tried using them in water. Just make sure you’re really turned on and for penetration, maybe, take it slow and expect a bit more friction as natural juices get washed away too. Sex is definitely not impossible though and very enjoyable, more grinding, less pounding though. In terms of dildos, metal and glass slide in easier in water than silicone does.
I haven’t had any problems with any toys that say waterproof, when using in the tub.
I see some people have, and maybe I am just lucky, but when testing toys, if it has the correct IP rating, you should be fine as it’s not deep enough to cause problems.
we have rabbits, wands, dildos, suction toys in a box ready to go and they all work fine and still charge up once dry.
Can’t recommend the right toy for you as it depends what you like, but search for a IP7 version of your favourite type of toy and give it a go.
