It’s a matter of holding your head up with pride - yes it’s a 8 inch dildo but it needs to go inside to bring you pleasure
My husband has no issues - we regularly shop for toys together as well as lingerie for him and there is no problem
We also don’t hide they are for him

@batjamboree I have to admit it was a nervous moment. Had always shopped for my partners. To have them asking me things like…would you like this one,? out loud made me blush a bit.

Apart from a bad experience many moons ago where a male assistant asked judgementally “why a bloke would want a dildo shoved up his arse”, I’ve always found the experience enlightening, intriguing (when you see what others are buying) and to be honest a bloody turn on knowing people are heading home for a good fucking or hot wank. I’ve even got off thinking about it. nooo! not in the shop.
April here: I know when me and my partner goes. I end up getting embarrassed and super wet. This also happens when I go with 2 of my girlfriends. For as my boyfriend I would say proud.
My other partner created “Kinky Fuckery Science”, and my husband is slowly understanding (and fully embracing) the premise. We don’t shop in sex shops (there’s 400 miles between us) but they did browse the Lovehoney website when I asked them to help me pick out my next product for review. Zero embarrassment for me , been buying adult toys for about 45 years . The biggest problem I have is that they try and hire me . Two problems with that , first I would never get a paycheck because I would buy way too much product . Number two is I was a machinist and made pretty good money they could not match . I do remember multiple times when the employees were embarrassed .
