I do have a few glass/metal wands but they’re all ribbed, so maybe a smooth one is in order 
@rosiedosie The new glass curvy one is really good. Had it as a tester and Would definitely recommend. I even tried it anally and its really nice for g spotting like that too, so it will be a good p spotter.
Not as heavy as a pure wand, but its alot cheaper which is a plus.

@Very-Ape have you used anal toys before dude? if not you might find that one a smidge large for a first plug. (3.5” circumference is a better starting size.)

@Very-Ape Ok, these guys are a good option for a first plug. The glass star plug is a good second plug option. Around the 4 inches circumference mark is a good size to move up to(I also love This one as a second plug option. Its a seriously nice plug, very comfy. You’ve probubly seen me gushing about it at some point. But it depends how you feel about it being pink etc)
You’ll probubly find you grow out of the 3.5 one pretty fast, but you kind of want to ease yourself in slow with anal play ( If you havent tried using your fingers yet thats also a good jumping off point).
My first plug was glass, and though you can start with metal/glass it is intense. Silicone is a much better first plug material as it has a little give and is more forgiving.
Theres also all the prostate toys out there, but theyr a different kettle of fish and i (for obvious reasons) know very little about them.

No worries dude. The pink one is great and really easy to insert due to the shape. One of the contributors to how a plug is going to feel is insertable length. (Yup, not just the circumference you have to make sure to read 
) so though its slim, its shape makes it feel really nice. Its still one of my go to’s even though it was the first plug i bought (fyi, not a good first plug for me 
i back-pedalled for a silicone one so fast. Then came back to it after a couple of weeks)
Ooh, also lube. Good quality anal lube, put plenty on the plug and if you can lube your fingers up a bit and insert them first just to spread the stuff around. Going to the bathroom before anal play also a good idea.

2nd the lube (I have the discover which is a good all-around water-based - comes in 3 sizes) and if you get any silicone I’d suggest looking into a good anal douche (as silicone likes to hold onto smells ) Yep, length and girth are both key to consider as @Green_Eyed_Girl has pointed out Sometimes big and short feels good, other times skinny and long, or both big and long or short and skinny Lots out their to tickle your fancy

That’s a real shame. It’s something I would suggest you talk to your partner about and explain why you want to try one. If you are worried about her making the wrong assumptions, I’ve seen information in a book about prostate play. I think it was a Relate guide to sex book. It was written in a way that totally normalised it and encouraged men to give it a go. It might be worth reading something factual about it with your OH, it might put her mind at rest.
@Green_Eyed_Girl has given some great suggestions for butt plugs. My first one was one of the small metal ones but I find the pink glass one is more comfortable to insert and wear. The tip is really small so you can just stop there for the first few tries.
Personally I’d avoid vibrations for a first plug because they are quite intense if you’re not used to having something inserted back there! But that might just be me. I enjoy them now but I think it would have been too much if I started with one.

Hi @AWB1955, I’ve got a few sets of nipple clamps and love them, I’m always looking for new styles! My favourites are the tweezer style ones, I find them more adjustable for large nipples. These aren’t the exact ones that I have because they were discontinued but they are the same style. I’ve not tried a pussy pump before so I can’t really help you there!

Even if you do get one with vibes, you don’t have to use them until you’re ready I got a few of the Rocks Off petite plugs to start since they’re all pretty small in circumference and didn’t try the vibes for a while

Yeah, my logic was you can always use it without the vibrations if you wanted, till you get used to it. Finding a 3.5” circumference silicone plug is a tad tricky in the store at the mo.
As you said, Very much up to personal taste though, some people find the vibes makes it easier to insert them first time

I really wish love honey would sell extreme Ben Wa as then I could spend my money on those with LH. Sadly not so whilst I’ve got my wand with LH this week I’ve had to go elsewhere to buy the above.
