@MyDeviantVirtue there’s nothing worse than feeling under pressure at work. I hope you manage to sort it.

@Orgasm_Chaser It’s not very pleasant right now. Working late, and not sleeping properly because I’m laid all night thinking about what I have to do the next day, and what I’m going to delay because I haven’t finished what I was supposed to do the previous day. :confounded:

I’m really crap at this sort of stuff. Just breathe. Make a plan. Potentially set out time scales to work on each project. Could you ease the workload by passing some on to fellow colleagues? Xx

I used to be like this, setting myself a list of things to do, then getting annoyed/frustrated when they didn’t get done. Then i realised, i was setting myself unrealistic goals, that other work colleagues didn’t. Now i do what i can, but if things don’t get done, it’s not my fault. The company should sort the staffing levels out.

Unfortunately not, I’m a one person team. :frowning: Basically since the lockdown my workload has doubled because of various things such as live webinar events, and new system roll-outs. Then add in all the usual stuff and it just piles up.

Probably going to have to speak with my boss at some point to try and get some additional help in for a day or two a week.

At the moment I average a 60-65 hour week, so it’s pretty mental…

Oh no @Ian_Chimp hope it’s ok. I splashed some on the bathmat yesterday , preferable to the eye thing though! :slightly_smiling_face:

I think I was a tad vigorous with my scrubbing. :slightly_smiling_face: It was relatively diluted, but I did have a slight scramble to the med kit for the eye wash. It just splashed up, and a drop landed right in the corner of my eye. I might have to get one of those Covid face shields for next time. :slightly_smiling_face:

I wish I’d had one of the those Covid face shields last year when I got poked in the eye by sharp twig while doing some gardening. Found out that a corneal abrasion takes ages to heal!

Household chores and gardening can be very hazardous! The fumes from bathroom cleaning products can be quite overpowering and irritating.
Gardening is as bad, i got some arm protecting sleeves with a kevlar weave in the fabric, from my old job for pruning as my arms ended up with an itchy rash.
I used goggles for trimming conifers too as bits always ended up in my eyes.
It’s a jungle out there!
