Iām completely alone. Itās still well before dawn. The world is dark, the world is quiet. Iād think I were asleep was the silence not broken by the gentle mute rhythm of the rainfall around me. Iām outside. Iām happy. Iām warm. Iām lay back, in that purgatory between floating and sinking. Naked of course, what other way would I be. A little afraid, vulnerable and bareā¦ never. Iām sure you guess itās my hot tub I speak of. My happy place. My safe place.
Iāve no idea what the day will deliver me, I hope Iām ready for it, I hope Iām notā¦ I love a challenge. Every day life gifts us a question, a puzzle to solve. Itās the questions we canāt answer that teach us the most. They teach us how to think. If you give a person an answer, all they gain is a little fact. But give them a question and theyāll look for their own answers.
A hand has fallen upon my bare shoulder. I feel the cool touch upon my heated skin, the press of his firm, weathered hand. Steady hands. Work hands. Hands of a man. More tools of his trades Iām sure. He gives me the black coffee which has become a part of my life. The fuel to my fire. And in this moment, I am complete

@Blonde_Bunny that sounds like heaven however id replace the hand with a ladies hand please. I too wish I was in a hottub but alas Iām back at work dealing with people who canāt understand simple directions. facepalm moment
I do hope that the lockdown the UK is currently in expedites and life is able to return to ānormalā again.
