For anyone that needs a laugh today…
I went to attempt to deliver paint to a new build site. We previously knew this site was particularly bad for mud/poor condition etc. It just so happened that today was god damn awful.
The van got stuck in the mud, I got out to see the extent of the stuckness, ended up almost losing a boot and had to get towed out of the site 
I am SO embarrassed

I cannot believe the extra inches on the waist. I was told cream cakes and chocolate were fine at weekends. I must not listen to others. @Wurger

To join you in a bit of mud angst though… I lost a welly in the mud yesterday! Well, not permanently lost, but my foot lost the welly and found the mud, not ideal but it did at least save the rest of me from sprawling flat out, face first into shiteness, which would certainly have happened had my foot not departed the quagmire engulfed boot.

@steve19, yes I’m OK now. I know how to deal with it when I’m broken. And I am enjoying Vera - not watched it before, so I’ve got some catching up to do. (I watched the one with Julie Graham last night, which is how I found out my husband has had a thing for her for a long time).
To right now, and the question is much more “What aren’t you currently doing that you should be”? I’ve got so many things I should be doing, and I’m not doing any of them.
Something I don’t need to be doing, but I feel like doing is trawling fabric sites to pick some fabrics for a few projects. I need a couple to send to woman who makes my bras these days, and I need a couple for some sexy outfit projects I’m working on - I haven’t finished a sexy outfit recently, and I really want to get one finished. Honestly, my queue of half finished outfits is almost as bad as my queue of half finished blog posts!

Burning my soul in a hot shower 
Alot went on today.
My mum had surgery for pre cancerous cells removal (shes had cancer before), but that went well.
I had an early 6 month probation review at work which I passed 
good feedback from customers/accounts and I’m liked within the region 
We’re above target for the year at work. After being handed a shit storm of a branch, I’m slowly managing to turn it around 
Hope everyone is having an alright week so far. The weekend cannot come quick enough in my eyes, I need a cocktail.

And it must be that time of night, I’ve just finished a cold shower. Now it’s time for soup not cocktails for me.

It’s 00:15 in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The rain has been going all day, but stopped about an hour ago.
Had a busy day, so just chillin’ in bed for a bit and catching up with the forum, before sleep.
