Swallows flying graceful and low over the stubble of freshly harvested corn fields
Geese flying strong and extemely low and loud over my house

Ooh @Melody1 you’ve just reminded me of what made me smile yesterday - a family of Cranes.
Mum, Dad and Junior out for a walk in one of the stubble fields. Only seen a Crane a few times so that was lovely. I did stop for a few photos but they’re on my camera and I probably won’t get a chance to download them until the weekend.
I got my birthday discount code and used it to order the new we-vibe tango. The last one was/is my favourite toy and is used every time and I’ve wanted the new one since it was released
I don’t have to cook tonight
My TMJ disorder is putting me through absolute hell today, but I’m trying to blank out the pain with memories of my trip to London on Wednesday, to meet my online pal Gaby for the first time. It was a fab day out: we never stopped talking and laughing!
Not today but on Monday when OH gets home she will instantly put a smile on my face and a certain something going on in my pants
Spoiling my girlfriend.
Had a barbe tonight, ate out under the trees on the lawn. Such a nice evening
Oh god, TMJ is awful isn’t it? I have atypical facial pain as well… Other stuff too, I seem to collect medical diagnoses like some people collect stamps…
My MH is on a at the moment so I’m trying to remind myself of when I felt really good which was last Friday, having a text chat with a friend I’ve known since school. Happy day
Hope you feel better soon xx
We had a visit from a very rare bird in the garden yesterday a little Jenny Wren tiny but very beautiful
Told my wife earlier on today that I had treated myself to something and her first reaction was ‘is it a sex toy?’
I’d actually just bought a football shirt but she knows me too well haha
Saving over a tonne of good quality food from going to landfill, including 600kg from Amaz**. All lifted, sorted and stored by hand
Organic roast chicken for dinner tonight
The rain yesterday and today. We have had a bit of a drought and it made me happy to see the ground and the forest get a good soaking. Maybe now the mushrooms will come up. Can’t wait to cook up some King Boletes.
The rain’s coming this week, but the past couple sunny days, I’ve been taking a long break from work on my computer screen in the afternoon to go out and do some stretches out in the sun It’s helping me keep in a good frame of mind
This
Sometimes, you just need a break, alone, in a beautiful place, to keep everything filed in the right order of your mind.
My kitten’s worn itself out zooming around the house with it’s little ears flat back, for the first time in months
It’s been so sick, at one point our vet recommended we should consider euthanasia.
So happy to see the treatment’s working and all the indicators are pointing to a full recovery
I’m so pleased s/he’s feeling better. My cat is the opposite: he’s 16½ and grieving for his sister who was put to sleep in February. Still, he’s still eating etc and giving cuddles
I hope he’s ok @VeryCurious6
Age, I think. Plus there’s a lot of sh*te going on. My husband and I have separated but are still in the same house. We get on but it’s difficult, especially as I have complex MH issues & was discharged from mental health team by psychiatrist in the middle of a crisis. I need to move out (can’t afford the mortgage) but because I’m on benefits (which have been reduced) I need a guarantor & nowhere will accept pets.
The wildlife around where I live makes me very happy and I love taking photos of them which makes me happy too, so this is my entry today for what cheered me up.
The Squirrel and Robin were taken through the kitchen window at my parents’ house, the rest around the farm where I work. Probably shouldn’t have cropped them to fit in a collage as the Hare and Kite are better uncropped but never mind. I’m very lucky to be able to be around them daily .
