What cheered me up recently

Two things so far today

1- My friend got married today She’s in a different time zone, so I was in bed on zoom for her wedding in the middle of the night She looked so beautiful, and her husband kept stealing glances at her and grinning to himself. I’m so happy for them!!

2- I had a follow up doctor appointment on zoom today I was frustrated because they didn’t contact me with the login information until after the appointment was supposed to start, but I finally got in, and I love my new doctor. I’ve had a lot of real jerk doctors the past decade or so, and this new doctor is awesome! It’s my second time seeing her, and she’s really patient and explains things very thoroughly. I feel really good being in her hands

3- I totally forgot this morning and afternoon that I had two LH packages coming today, and they were just delivered!! YAY!!

what’s cheered me up with all the shit going on in our lives at the moment is
my family’s came up to visit as a surprise on Saturday. So we’ve had a wonderful time enjoying days out at the river, beach, walking around various locations, eating out and it’s been wonderful. We took them out for a meal tonight as their anniversary is Sunday and they go hom home tomorrow. What a fantastic evening (until we got the bill,) I jokingly said “I am afraid we’ll have to work to pay the no ”! I can’t believe how much it cost for 5 of us don’t get me wrong it was worth it massively n we all had a lovely time, got some great pics, vids n lot’s of special memories.The past week has taken our minds off everything going on, couldn’t be happier with how nice a time we’ve all had

The lovely little squash I bought from the market, the colour is so bright and cheerful, tomorrow I am going to make roasted squash with blue cheese risotto (the risotto is cooked and served in the squash)
