Pretty simple but just seeing the sun out, blue sky and no rain! Sadly it’s still cold but at least a little respite from the depressing grey wetness that we’ve had here recently.
And I’ve got my washing out blowing merrily in the breeze

We had a few sunny and almost warm days , got an early start to yard work . Trimmed a front hedge , pruned the big rose , cut old growth off of the fern . Then mowed both the front and back yard . The next day I cleaned my little four wheel drive and cleaned and treated the soft top . Yesterday I did a solo ride to my buddy’s place that passed away last May . A one man memorial ride . It is a beautiful ride through some great country , lower speed , sweeping corners and multiple rivers . He was a work friend I had known about 30 years .

Left my phone at my mum’s this morning and realised as soon as I got home, so went straight back. When I got there she said she’d just texted me to tell me I’d left my phone.
I replied “yeah but how would I see the text when the phone is here?” 
It gave us both a giggle!

Yesterday had several lows and one high point . Wife was doing very poorly , once again almost to point to end up in the hospital . Took me most of the day to get her squared away . First thing yesterday morning , I discovered our refrigerator had quit working some time way earlier . Had to throw out many dollars worth of food from freezer and fridge . I worked my mojo on it and got it operating by the evening . However the highlight was our local little football team did win the Super Bowl . So a very stressful day finished off very good .

Had that happen a couple of years ago while we were on holiday…in July! Think we had some kind of power cut that blew the chest freezer in the garage, cos the tv had missed an hours worth of recordings on the Monday, so you can imagine it wasn’t good when we got home on the Saturday!
Lots of stuff thrown away, sealed tightly in double bin bags!

An event we were really looking forward to was called off after the venue they had booked had a better offer (despicable behaviour from a venue). What cheered me up was the organisers have found another venue, so it is back on again!
