What do you use? VPN or accounts for porn?

I think its fair to say the majority of us on here, have watched porn, still watch porn or there’s even a few who star in and sell home made material on other platforms,

Obviously things changed a month or so ago with the government’s online safety guidelines.

After purchasing a VPN myself so I could watch porn freely, well except the VPN cost, I was wondering what others had done?

Also those who’s careers depend on selling their own material on other platforms, how the government guidelines had affected them.

Samantha here. We have one go to porn site and Ben has an account so we can easily find our favourite videos and even add a few clips of our own.

Both.

I have had a VPN (Nord) for years on my laptop so I just log in to a non UK server.

On my tablet I set up an account.

I’ve read some of the free VPNs pose the same risks as just validating your age in terms of data security risks etc. It’s really such a minefield.

Use Proton VPN. Free and safe. Too many VPNs out there advertised that steal your details.

Not challenging you here, but how do you know it’s safe?

(Asking as someone who genuinely wants the assurance.)

Google how safe is proton VPN for the full scope but my lovely nerd friend (nothing wrong with being a nerd btw!) told me all about it and warned me against others. He knows his stuff and wouldn’t use anything that he felt wasn’t secure. I seem to recall not entering any personal information to get the VPN up and running either.

Nord vpn is the best. Really fast connection compared to others. There’s normally a voucher or quidco cashback if you use it.

I use AVG

Maybe this has convinced me into trying it.

If nobody hears from me in a few days or weeks either I’ve been hacked or it’s worked a little too well!

VPN all day long, not giving this government any more power over me.

Be warned with the Free VPN accounts.. Just remember, you are the product in this, as nothing in life is free; they know your IP and what sites/content you’re watching. If they know your IP then they can match it up with other data that is identifiable. (Any VPN Service can do this, of course, but you HOPE the non-free ones don’t.)
Not trying to scare you, but some of the security research on these free VPN services is a little scary to say the least.
