Anal or silicone gels or even water based it’s what works best for you and the length of time you will be playing. If you masterbate you could always try your precum too, It all depends on your position as you allow them entry. If in doggy try a dollop on your sphincter and insert gently. If lying sideways the toy coated is probably better as it slides in.

There are many here far knowledgeable than me so we both might learn something new.

I’ve only really used plugs
I prepared with external stimulation and lube
Then moved to a single finger to apply lube internally
Then repeat with two fingers and starting stretching etc
Then lube the toy well and start with gentle insertion
If it’s not going in easily then lube n finger again
I tend to lie on my back pulling my legs up or bending over doggy style
Either of those positions is also good for doing in a cam session with another guy who can watch me playing

We use this, especially before pegging. Start with some lube on your finger to lube your ass, then insert. Depending on the activity, more lube is better.

Lube shooter mentioned above works great to live your insides….

One other thing to keep in mind is your hydration level….if you’re dehydrated and using water based lube it will dry out fast as your body pulls the water out of it.

I tend to use liquid silk lube but any water based lube will work too and for application your probably doing all the right things.

Alternatively as an added extra you can get a syringe to fill with lube and directly insert it up your bum to squirt in ready for play time

We always play with the anus with a lubed finger, topping up the lube as you go leading upto inserting a finger, or 2 if you’re in the mood. Then we always also lube up the toy.

You can never use too much lube!

Lube the tou, and if you have a lube syringe you can squirt some lube inside your butt before starting. And lube up your butthole. Lube lube lube!
