Seventh son of a seventh son - Iron Maiden
Oxygene - Jean Michel Jarre
I didnât know that you could still play 7 inch records
(they donât even do a vinyl emoji)
Highway Star - Deep Purple
Cranking up the volume as I type!
I taped it onto cassette!
The car was a bit chilly so @WillC knows what a challenge that can be
(see âsomewhere elseâ on the forum )
I love that song, but my favourite one has always been Abracadabra
always thought it stretched the rhyme a bit
Youâre right , there is no vinyl emoji. Only dvd and cd! They obviously havenât heard that vinyl has made a bit of a comeback!
Thereâs even a mini disc emoji, and no one outside of Japan even owed one
Iâve got a load of vinyl and nothing to play it on. Mind you a lot of it was probably ruined due to the crappy stylus needle I used! Still, a lot of good memories in those records so I wouldnât want to get rid even if I could
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
@Melody1 i know you like a bit of Country, if you want cheering up, Google funny C&W song titles!
âGet Your Tongue Outta My Mouth, Iâm Kissing You Goodbyeâ
âI Got Tears In My Earsâ (
From Lying On My Back Crying Over You)
âHow Can I Miss You If You Wonât Go Awayâ etc!
I have the LP
I Country Gold
The cracking sound you get when you play your old vinylâs is part of their charm and the memories
The only problem with that is when you hear the same track played on the radio and youâre waiting for it to jump in the same place! But I agree thereâs something nice and familiar about the sound of vinyl
Afternoon Delight - Starlight Vocal Band
Iâve just changed channels to Now70âs while the ads are on Planet Rock!
I experience that too! Waiting for the jump! I can tell you the tracks! Makinâ Music by Diamond Head on the Canterbury album, and Shine A Little Love from ELOâs Discovery album! Have both on cd now, but the jumps are burnt into my brain!
All Over The WorldâŚELO
Always loved this very upliftingâŚwouldnât it be great to have a proper party right now?
Think we all need it
Fly On The Wings Of LoveâŚXTM
Probably my favourite ELO song after Sweet Talking Woman and Mr Blue Sky!
Oh Yeah! - Chicken Foot
