For me personally i would absolutely love a new hoover! I used to have one of those lightweight pull along hoovers which i loved to bits. One day it just died and we were having guests round the next day so we had to panic buy for a hoover before the shops shut!
Oh ended up getting an upright one that was on sale and i hate it. Its too heavy for me to take up and down stairs and you cant do under the bed with it. It has a hose and an attachement so you can, but it isnt stable so when you move the hose to hoover the whole thing falls over! For that reason hoovering the sofas is a two person job as if you dont hold it up it will smash the tv or the fish tank! It also struggles with the thick piled rug and the lino kitchen floor...
So yeah i would love a new hoover that i get along with!
ive also seen a steamer thing on one of those qvc type ads where you can steam clean your floors, windows, carpets, sofas, kitchen surfaces, baths, bath tiles. Basically anything! Secretly i would love one of those too!
Sadly both are probably expensive so i doubt i will get either :( would be chuffed to bits if i did though!
I really really really want a new toaster! Our current one's awful - the lip on the inside is huge so your toast gets stuck under it when it's meant to pop up, if it's in an especially bad mood you have to turn the bloody thing upside down and shake it to get your toast out. Don't even think about sticking crumpets in there.
Oh and I'd like more mugs too, my housemate left loads in his room for weeks when he went away and I just don't feel comfortable drinking out of cups that once held their own ecosystems :( bleach can kill vast amounts of mould, but not the memories. Ick.
Ive also remembered that for the past three years ive wanted matching bedside tables for the bedroom! Currently i have the one i had when i was about 11 so its so old and doesnt match anything else in the room! Oh doesnt want one his side because he says he doesnt need one. Id like the ones that match the chest of drawers we have.
I suppose i could buy all this stuff myself with money i get for xmas and birthday put towards it. But then thats not the same as opening it!
I really need a new microwave and slow cooker. Usually if I got a gift like this, I'd really sulk, but they are much needed!
My list currently consists of mainly bits for the horse!
New haynets, new headcollar, treats, toys, Sudocrem, brushes etc etc
I do really want a new saddle cloth for him as well. oO and a new broom
Me: Some deodrant and Lush cream that is helping clear up my eczema patches
Exciting list lol
But I would rather get bits that I know I will always need and have to buy anyway :)
I'd love a new rug for my baby and a new wheelbarrow! I really really need a new yard coat. Mine leaks at the elbows, especially if I'm riding in the rain.
I'd like a big saucepan. I have to use two when my friends come round for dinner and I hate washing up

Thanks both! I've just bought my boy a new super duper rug but he could do with both haynets that don't have knots tied in them and a head collar without a broken clip and I have exactly the same problem as you CH with the leaky elbows on my coat. Any of those would be very much appreciated for Christmas!

I'd actually really love a new pair of long leather riding boots. After two babies my old ones just won't zip up any more. :(
Some new mugs, ours are donkey's years old and I'm sick of continually bleaching them to get rid of tea stains . They're just the sort of thing that always gets left at the bottom of the list when we get new household stuff.
