I've been thinking about using a butt plug on myself for long periods of time - a full day/night cycle perhaps. What's a good one to use & is glass a suitable option? I'd want to be able to feel it during the day but I don't want it becoming uncomfortable.

Circumference wise I've been up to 5.5 inches but for long periods of time I wouldn't want to go that wide but I don't want something too thin that it might pop out as that'd be extremely embarrassing and ruin the fun =D
If you're looking for something that won't pop out, also look for one with a thin stem. Bigger the difference between the widest part and the stem, the better.
Hmm that's true. That'd allow for a reasonable size (small to mid) without the fear of it popping out. There are a lot to choose from but the most important thing for me currently is getting advice on other peoples experience. Tips etc would help in choosing the right one for me
My advice would be to avoid hard materials like glass etc as they become uncomfortable. Also look for something with a decent enough difference between the stem and the bulb. When you wear it for a prolonged period of time, be prepared to reapply lube quite often. I've always enjoyed that, as it gives me a thrill going to the toilets to do it each time. Some people find it difficult to keep a plug in for a long period of time, as it makes them feel like they need to poo. I started by wearing it for small portions of the day, then slowly building up. Most of my friends that have worn them for long periods of time have also done this.
The Chrystalino one that’s sold by LH is glass (looks like it has a curved fish tail) and is super comfy for all day wear. Glass is good for prolonged wear as doesn’t need lube reapplied regularly. My OH bought himself one after trying out mine and regularly sleeps with it in. Size wise not too big either. Can’t seem to post a link to it but should come up easily if you search for the brand.

A really good tip is to have a small zip lock bag with you at all times so if you really needed to take it out you can and sort it out later.
