It's not really my thing. If it's a small, accidental gape then it can be interesting because to me it shows the person is very relaxed and into it, but gaping for the sake of gaping, or large gaping doesn't do it for me at all.
However, to say that a sex act is only or always about one motive, such as humiliation, is completely short sighted.
