What's your favourite (non sexual) thing to do to relax?

Baths, guitar, listening to music, reading, video games, movies. That covers it. All preferably enhanced by a pint :joy:

I love to cut the grass. Something about looking at it once a it’s finished is just satisfying. Also I’m proper anal about it so it has to be perfect haha

I love my running, although its not physically relaxing i find it mentally so. Just me in my own head with my own thoughts.

Bet it wasn’t the last time! :woman_facepalming:t2::rofl:

For me for full relaxation it’s a hot bath, a good book and leaving my phone in a completely different room so as not to get distracted!

Yes i mowed it again on Thursday and said to my OH ā€œhopefully the last one of the yearā€ and she said ā€œYou said that last weekā€
Am resigned to the fact i will probably be mowing at least once more, until we get a good hard frost!

After working out I like to take a hot shower, sit on the deck with a drink or some 420 and listen to music or read a good book.

Other than watching a bit of tv or reading I love to smash things to help me relax. In that I mean smashing rocks open when fossil hunting or smashing hot pieces of metal with a hammer when I’m trying to brush up on my blacksmithing skills (I’m very rusty)

I love to chill out with some music or I will play some video games with OH or do some painting. I paint miniatures so it can take quite a long time but I love it .

What are your favourite things to find?

I have a permission that is a local park in the centre of town - it’s full of WW1 and Victorian era stuff - I love find Militaria. When o get to go out on organised digs on fields etc I love finding Roman artifacts/coins.

My oldest find was a Bronze Age axe head that’s 4000 years old!

But in honesty I’m happy even I only find junk - I enjoy the seclusion and quiet (any good finds are a bonus)

Nice it does sound very peaceful.

They definitely are, especially good brushes but it is worth spending the money to get good ones as long as you look after them. I have a few friends as well as the OH who are also into the hobby so we often borrow paints from each other. It can be expensive to start but one you have everything you can get models cheap if you know where to look.
