We are on holiday in the south of France and have visited a couple of naturist beaches. We both shave our pubes and always go smooth in the summer but we never expected everyone on both beaches to be shaved smooth. With the exception of one lady who had a 1cm landing strip everyone else were smoothies. That goes for young, middle aged and seniors they all were smooth this year in the Med.

I prefer my O/H fully shaved and she likes it as well. Or a small landing strip. Good place to put a load of cum and easy clean up

I always liked it to be super smooth to avoid getting a saliva rash on my mouth, but recently I have moved to the hairy side and love a bit of fur on the playpen!
It’s a bit of a shame that everyone feels they need to be super smooth now, bring back the bush!

I wonder if it varies with age group generally? Me and my boyfriend are in our 20’s (just) and both fully remove our pubes.
My boyfriend was already shaving most of his when we got together and really prefers being smooth and says it is much more comfortable. He decided to get it lasered last year and now is completely smooth down there with no need to shave. I decided to do the same after seeing the results on him and it does feel much better for me also.

I’m almost 40 and have been pube free (shaving) for at least the last 20 years, I much prefer it that way. I’m thinking laser is the way to go. Obviously, it’s personal preference but I’m not a fan of downstairs hair and luckily my OH feels the same.
I guess, these days, it’s the more common preference? If you’ve been previous years, wasit different then?

I’m hairy all over so couldn’t go fully shaved without taking out a loan for razors! I do shave my balls and keep my pubes trimmed though

I think, the porn industry needed something new and shaved was one of those things in the 1990’s and normal people slowly followed now 30 years on and the general norm is fully shaved even for guys, i can see the appeal no hair you can see everything feels different etc?

Give it 20 years and I wouldn’t be surprised if it followed the fashion industry and returned to everyone being hairy as F*ck. It would be interesting to know if it was a so called body fashion choice or a personal feeling type choice and how much general perception plays a part.

I agree that it’s a personal choice, I spent many years with full growth, but for some reason I now prefer my balls smooth, can take a while to get it done though

I’m smooth all over apart from my legs (soon to be shaved too) but my wife has a full bush and under arm hair. It’s part of our current scenario.

Since late 80s when I had a vasectomy and had to be hairless , I have been very closely trimmed in the area . Been pretty much hair free all under for about 10 years . Tried a at home laser last year . Limited success with much of the hair lite grey to white . Checked my local " hair care " shop and got a price that was not in my budget . Word of wisdom from an old timer , get it done before you turn grey . For me the feeling and looks are greatly improved , along with easy clean up . Every once in a while I remember the late 70s and early 80s , pubic hair caught in your teeth or throat . Gross .

I hope this doesn’t go against the admins rules. Once, only once while oh was shaving me I came - a lot! She wasn’t masturbating me at all! Only held my penis while she shaved the base. I couldn’t help myself. Ever happen to anyone else?

No, no growing back at all now. It’s different to shaving as it is completely smooth, not spiky or scratchy at all. My boyfriend got all his pubic area done with 8 treatments and has not had any hair grow back for 10 months now.
