Hi all

So in your relationship and if your going to make love and your using contraception who put it on does he do it or does she do it for him and how often should you practice using condoms

When I did need to use them 25 plus years ago it was my want and duty to make sure I put the condom on correctly. Therefore if there was an accident it was my responsibility to make sure everyone was taken care of any any blame people felt should be given was mine.

Similar experience to @JGood - been a while since I needed to use them, but was always my responsibility. I developed the best condom applying skills. Having said that I loved having them put on me :grinning_face:

Definitely requires some practice, like putting on a bow tie! Remember a few failed attempts in the early days, nothing like a few discarded condoms to get you in the mood!

When we used condoms, I could not take the pill, hubby always put them on. Not something I felt confident in doing myself as after all I would be the one who ended up pregnant if I did not do it properly. Only once did it come off and that was when we were in the shower. Fortunately we got away with that one.

I wish I practiced more before my first time to be honest - only had 3 condoms and tried to put the first one on inside out - it did not help settle my nerves at all!!! Always has been my job and responsibility to do it even if we use one now! Would have liked the OH to put them on for me but she’s not keen on the idea, it’s a personal choice that!! :slightly_smiling_face:

Practice makes perfect I agree with @phil76 on that one, and I practiced a lot before my first time having sex.

Also have a scientific curiosity of things they hold huge amounts of water without breaking normally and are great water balloons for area effect ordinance

And that’s wrong, I don’t mind having fun but you respect property and people while you do and that’s at any age.

Don’t use them any longer, but when I did it would depend.

In relationships it was whoever. Sometimes me, sometimes her, it doesn’t really matter.

For the occasional one night stand you’d better believe I wasn’t leaving that to chance. Though it was fun to sometimes see women do it with their mouth. Totally pointless and added nothing, but a fun novelty.

I’d guess either/or really, it’s more on how you like it and the mood. If it was me in a relationship I’d probably put it on for them if I felt like it and use my mouth to roll it down on them :winking_face_with_tongue:

That’s from a very special moment when I tried to loose my virginity with someone very special, it didn’t happen that night it was a big fail :see_no_evil_monkey: lol but we did have a laugh about the many failed attempts that night.

I haven’t used condoms in a long time (I don’t think my husband would let me now, he loves our breeding kink too much :joy:) but when we did they were always hubby’s responsibility. I take the mini pill now though and that’y my responsibility. That said, that’s not only about birth control, it’s also aboout eliminating my old painful menstrual cycles :slight_smile:
