Who's cooking what tonight?

Roast duck Sunday dinner with plenty veg and gravy. I might make apple sauce too as I love it with duck. :yum:

I really want to try roasting a duck and then using the left over meat to make crispy duck pancakes with hoisin sauce

Just about to have bacon and eggs muffins for breakfast.

Tonight we are having roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage and gravy.

Best way is long and slow(not unlike other activities :joy:) until the meat falls away from the carcass easily and the skin is crispy.

I’m doing Quorn roast with a garlic and herb marinade, roast veg, baby potatoes cos I don’t like roast potatoes, probably Yorkshire puddings and vegetarian pigs in blankets. With the leftover Quorn I will make a Quorn and mushroom filo pie tomorrow

I’m getting everything ready and the grill fired up for a pair of USDA Angus Ribeye steaks that will be seasoned with garlic salt and Slap - Yo - Mama creole seasoning then grilled/smoked over pecan wood.

Home made curry in tonight.

Wow, sounds amazing! Standard spaghetti Bolognese for me!

Baked Bean and frankfurter sausage pasta (all food waste and still well ‘in date’)
Done on top of my wood burning stove (in a pan of course lol)
Did a stir fry last night the same way
Fuelled by wood from surrounding countryside
48hrs without using my cooker or microwave
AND
a solar powered light in my kitchen as the bulb’s gone and I don’t have a spare
ain’t I COPtastic

Fantastic you eco warrior. I also cook on our own solid fuel stove, often saucepans of veggies and for tonight shin of beef in a casserole. :yum:
