Really easy Friday: Roast chicken (whatever they have in our local supermarket, but corn-fed / free range is always good) stuffed with fresh herbs and lemon. Roast potatoes (frozen) and carrots cooked around it. Lots of butter. Takes minutes to prep and the lemon and meat juices make a sauce. And - heavenly but not necessarily sexy - a whole bulb of garlic nestled in there somewhere - squash out the caramelised garlic and enjoy!
