Just wondering what treacle duff is? Is it like a steamed sponge pudding?

I haven’t had one of those in years! We bought a new pudding basin recently (for Xmas pud) but I might have to pull it out sooner. Thanks for the inspiration! :+1:

Goan prawn curry which I think I could have eaten double and drinking a gimlet - I’ve discovered a taste for gin cocktails!

No cooking for me tonight, went to Beefeater and hand a mixed grill. Feeling stuffed, and not in a good way :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Are they still going? I was a secret customer tester for Beefeater way back when

We love Beefeater. First time we’ve been since the start of Covid :grinning:

I have no idea but I think it will be the chef in the hotel and as for what I will be eating again it will depend on the chef a surprise for a change :+1:

Making veggie taco bowls.
Loads of vegetables, veggie protein, rice, wedges, chillies and several different sauces all served in a wrap that has been baked into a bowl.

Just had Chinese, but they only sent 6 spring rolls instead of 8, and the stir fry veg didn’t have Szechuan sauce - it was plain

Phoned the restaurant and they told me that that’s how Szechuan sauce tastes… I said that I’ve had it before and it is spicy/warm and reddish in colour, but what I received was beige and unflavoured.

Ah, well. I’ll wash the memory away with a nice glass of red wine :wine_glass:
