Tried this last year. Could be that we didn’t get the positioning right, but she was basically bouncing off my balls. Highly uncomfortable, not to mention distracting!

I wasn’t aware this ‘position’ had a name.
Try it with her holding legs around the back of her head once you are happy, a different sense and might be a lot of fun if you have been on top and held her legs on your shoulders - reversal of roles.
There is probably a name someone has given it for that position as well but who cares …
Good on her for wanting to be adventurous and try new positions. I have this problem where I overthink things, and when I look at that position all I can think of is how incredibly awkward getting into it would be. I’d probably be failing and laughing so much it’d ruin the mood

Well we gave it a go last night and we were careful, mindful of the risks. My wife enjoyed being the control partner but I couldn’t relax so we changed positions to finish off. We are going to try again and hopefully I will relax and we can reach a climax. My wife is very enthusiastic to build this position into our repertoire and I have to admit that it is a very submissive position for a man to be taken like this. Perhaps that is the allure?

Question here for those who’ve tried Amazon position: is it possible to get into this position from other woman on top positions - i.e conventional cowgirl then male partner wraps legs round or do you have to start with legs up in air first?
