Hubby has booked to take me to Amsterdam this wkend as a belated birthday present. We are both very excited as it’ll be the first time away abroad without the children in 22 years!
We have been researching a lot, and have found some coffee shops etc we would like to visit, and the Anne Frank’s house. BUT our main topic of conversations has been to go to an erotic club/dance hall where it is perfectly acceptable to get frisky with one another on the dancefloor.
The only place we can find is called sameplace bar in central amsterdam, couples night on Sunday where we may able to watch others, and have a great time together. We are not interested in other people joining in but we may try being watched or watching others… first to all of this so we will see how we feel as the mood takes us!
I wonder if anyone has been recently and can recommend such places or any other recommendations to make it hot as hell in my husband’s words.

Thanks yes, I have read about that place but it’s around a 40 minute taxi from our hotel, so it’s a bit too far out. Maybe one we could go to if he should book again
Yes he has booked Anne Frank’s for our last day of the trip and has booked an hour canal tour for when we first arrive.
We watched a video from casa rouge I think it’s called - live sex show- but is very staged obviously and seems more comedic than anything else do I don’t think that’s for us.
There is the Rijksmuseum for the Rembrandts. Then after that you retreat to your room with the mirror and role play artist and the naked model for some still life drawing!!

I was solo and wanted to check this place out just to see what it is like. I don’t think I could get my wife in the door as it would be outside her comfort zone.
I posted a very similar question a year or so ago. We were too last minute to manage to book into Ann Frank and were disappointed.
Sex museum is fun and very unsexy. We went to the live sex show (with a pink elephant). There are two pink elephant neon lights and we went to the bigger one. We started off shy at the back and within half hour we were at the front in a very crammed theatre. I think it’s worth doing and we spent about a hour there, but both of us came out feeling mildly disappointed the 4-5minute intervals were so staged and it was mildly derogatory.
The peep shows are awful but we had a giggle and it was money well wasted to tick it off. We really enjoyed walking round the red light area, people watching and spotting people going in….. it turned into our favourite exhibition.
The upside down museum was also fun, great daytime exhibition. Another day time tourist must do, was hiring bikes. Great fun
We got bored with art museums but our overall AQ may be too digital. Rijksmuseum Was very impressive to be close to such ate but eventually we wanted a beer!
We had a fantastic time, saw a peep show, nothing to write home about to be honest but worth seeing as your there.
We went to a couples night in a club, quite a walk, and was a lot smaller than we had anticipated. It was our first experience of that, and has sparked conversations
Fantastic time in Amsterdam though! Body world museum worth a visit as is the Anne frank house.
Same place is tiny!! Wasn’t what we were expecting as our first venture to sex clubs, it put us off a bit to be honest! There was like no talking amongst people or getting to know one another it seemed.
Just a couple having really vigorous foreplay on a bed and then people going at it downstairs but it wasn’t sexy in the slightest. Didn’t do anything for either of us, but we were super proud that we even braved going

As far as bars go I can recomend the old sailor bar canal st a bit further down from there is the black panther bar really relaxed vibe, mabe because most folks are off their heads on space cake!
Ummm… odd really! It’s tiny, small bar. Prob about 15 couples all together there, mix of ages but I’d say 35+.
We thought people would all be chatting and we’d get to hear others experiences etc, but there was literally no talking. Tiny area to dance next to a pole and bed and cage

We wouldn’t go back there, but it certainly sparked a lot of conversations over the wkend. We would like to try another but on a bigger scale, definitely needs a dancefloor cause that excites us both.
The hotel suite we had was amazing, with the mirrored walls, sofa and bath in the bedroom. We made the very most of it all!
